Jer woke up with a start, looking around trying to figure out what that dreadful screeching sound was coming from. Only finding it was his phones alarm, along with notifications from his friends and some chicks he met a while back. With an eye roll and a shiver he pulled back the covers and smiled down at the small furry head that popped up in confusion. "Cecelia... time to wake up lil girl." he stated as he reached down and stroked his pups head, his grin becoming wider as she pulled away and nipped at his hand as if she were angry for waking her up.
With a grunt Jer swung his legs off the bed and placed his bare feet on the cold hard wood floor causing another shiver to run along his spin and bumps to raise on his olive skin. He slipped on the first shirt he saw before standing and finding a pair of pants that would look OK-ish with it. Then it was off to the small bathroom attached to his room to do his daily routine; wet hair, comb hair, dry hair, wash face, brush teeth, add cologne, and done. With one last glance in the mirror he ruffled his hair, slapped on his watch, snatched his sunglasses off the counter, and straightened the collar on his shirt.
Everyone was still sleeping as he headed downstairs, which was typical since his mom left his father for some lowlife fool only a few months ago. Cecelia was already sitting at the door wagging her tail waiting patiently. Her grabbed her leash, clipped it in her collar and headed out the door. He hadn't taken her to the park in a while so he decided that that would be where he would go today.
