Silvercrest University, located in the south of Wales, is a specialist in the arts, with numerous talent scouts and casting agents visiting every year to be the first to pick who they want to offer a role to in their next projects after graduation. While students live the usual student life (most of them, anyway), some of the students suddenly find themselves, whether it's quite sudden or they are eased into it, in situations which are not unlike some partial scenarios of a musical. Add that to the upcoming auditions for the midterm showcase and concert (in which students will be auditioning to perform their own, original solo pieces alongside performances that they will be rehearsing within classes), and you've got quite the tense atmosphere. But will they play through to the intended ending, or will they go off-script?

1. For Good - Wicked
Muse A transferred to Silvercrest University in her second year. There was something off about her, something different. And that did not make her popular at all among the other students, and thus caused her to become quite resentful. Muse B, meanwhile, was the most popular girl on campus, adored by almost everyone. Despite the two clashing horribly to start with - especially when they are made to share an elite flat together that Muse B had intended to reside in alone - after they both unexpectedly help one another, they become close friends. Despite it, Muse A never really got popular, but the two realise that - after their close friendship takes a strain - they've both been changed for the better through their friendship. But will it end? Or will they figure out the growing feelings between each other?

2. Where Did The Rock Go? - School of Rock
Muse A is a rock music expert, with dreams of becoming a huge rock star, but also has something of a don't-care attitude to pretty much everything else, with a stick-it-to-the-man outlook. They only reason why they're really attending Silvercrest is because she got it on a scholarship. Muse B has a private school background, focuses solely on classical music, and is really rather uptight. Needless to say, she was not very impressed by Muse A in the slightest, but remained proper and civil. However, after an unexpected night out together - courtesy of Muse A, who got an idea after hearing a few rumours that Muse B is more than just the uptight, classical student she seems to be. After revealing that she secretly loves rock, but pursues a career in classical music due to it being the 'only genre where she'll be guaranteed success', Muse B makes Muse A promises to never tell anyone, and to just forget it ever happened. But with the upcoming mid-term concert, will Muse A be able to convince Muse B to embrace her rocker side?

3. I Love The Way - Something Rotten!
Muse A's devout parents think that he's studying Mathematics, and have a very opinionated view that boys should not study anything arts/performance related. They're also heavily homophobic. Therefore, he secretly fears that they'll find out that he's been lying to them, and - regardless of his age - will force him to drop out of Silvercrest and potentially either kick him out of the house, or confine him to it. Muse B comes from a very artisan family, who are open and incredibly accepting, and would probably drop everything in a heartbeat to help out a friend, and has also just transferred to Silvercrest University. Muse A and Muse B click quickly when they first meet, excitedly bonding over a shared love of dance. However, Muse A's fears quickly come to light, and puts a wedge between them, yet Muse B still managed to turn his world upside-down. But will unending patience and support from Muse B show Muse A that he is certainly not alone in the world, and that he will have all the support he needs, even if it's not from his parents?

4. All I Ask Of You - Phantom of the Opera
Muse A is a highly-talented singer, though had remained in chorus roles... up until recently, when his talent became exposed when a role had to be filled after the departure of a student from the university. He soon also meets with his childhood friend, Muse B, and begins to spend more time with him, much to the chagrin of Muse C, a Fourth Year student who has been giving Muse A additional singing lessons, and regards his success being down to him. As a result, Muse C begins to attempt to secretly sabotage rehearsals, to do anything to keep Muse A and Muse B apart. However, Muse C ends up going too far, and causes the death of another student. Scared that he is being targeted, Muse A finds solace in Muse B, and they both declare their love for one another, with Muse B promising to protect Muse A, while Muse A decides to cut ties with Muse C for good - and since they have no proof of Muse C being behind it all, they're unable to make an official case against him. But will Muse C be so willing to let Muse A go?

5. Suddenly Seymour - Little Shop of Horrors
Muse A started out at Silvercrest with nothing really notable about them, apart from being a little nerdy with a heart of gold. Almost no one gave them a second glance. Apart from Muse B, a sweet person that tends to fall in with the wrong people. They've both been crushing on one another, but Muse A always thought that Muse B wouldn't give him the time of day, and Muse B always thought that Muse A was too good for them. After Muse B's abusive partner disappeared a few months ago, and Muse A is now suddenly becoming popular among the students, things take an interesting turn, and Muse C starts to become too nosy for their own good, thinking that Muse A has something to do with Muse B's partner's disappearance (which may or may not be true). One night, Muse A finds himself comforting Muse B, who is still emotional over their partner, and they both end up confessing their feelings for one another. But how will it end for them if Muse C continues prying?

A general image is in the first post to depict the Silvercrest Campus. First Year students can stay in Halls, but Second Year and above normally stay in an off-campus house/flat that they may share with 1-5 other people (as a general rule).

Some main facilities are:
- Dance Studios. There are three of these, and all of them are equipped with a sound system, ballet bars and floor-to-ceiling mirrors that cover one wall. They are large, being able to take classes of up to fifty students at a time, with plenty of room to spare.
- Drama Studios. Like the dance studios, only without the ballet bars and sound system. There's also three of them, and they also have thick, virtually soundproof curtains - with space to be stood behind, so that they can serve as 'off stage' areas.
- Recording Studios. For students to record themselves. Fully equipped with professional sound and video recording equipment, which is usually operated by media students, and overseen by tutors from both media and music.
- Music Rooms. They are somewhat smaller than most of the other rooms, allowing for up to just eight students in at any one time, taking into account there are usually instruments set up, as well as a sound system. There are seven of these, and most music/singing students are assigned a particular one for their practical classes, so they're not having to transport instruments around constantly.
- Lecture Halls. All students will be using them at least once or twice a week. They can each seat up to 100 students, though classes are not normally this large anyway.
- Locker Rooms. Mostly for dance and drama students. Each of them are assigned a locker, and will share the locker room - which also has a separate shower area with five cubicles - with those of the same gender. Has benches in the center of the room, and space under the lockers for things to be stored under, if they won't go into the locker.
- Auditorium. A 350-seat auditorium, with a large stage, three props cupboards, and other facilities that you would likely find in a modern theatre. There's two doors that are off-stage, that both lead to the same large corridor, with numerous dressing rooms, etc.

- No Mary Sues/Gary Stus/God modding.
- PM me to reserve - they last for 24 hours. You are allowed up to two characters.
- Do not join if you will not be active. If I don't think that you'll be active in the roleplay, then I will reject your character.
- Interact with other characters and don't leave anyone out! That said, don't just wait around for someone to interact with you - actually get involved with the roleplay instead of constantly asking which characters are open.
- Every post should be about a paragraph of 4-5 sentences for each character. Writers block is understandable, but constant one- or two- liners will be not acceptable.
- Any sort of hate or discrimination about the pairings, or any of the characters in general, then you will not be allowed to join this roleplay (or any of my other roleplays).
- All characters must be 19-22.
- No OOC drama. If there's a problem, then please PM me.
- If you aren't active for 48 hours, then I'll send out one reminder. Then, if you still are not posting, I will remove your character(s) from the roleplay.
