he grinned, seeing the two standing in front of eachother in the hallway, awkwardly moving about. autumn had a blush the shade of a cherry dappling her cheeks, but he couldn't see emerson's reaction. he turned to reina. "this has to be the best prank we've pulled off in years." he said with a grin, chuckling softly.

the cheer captain stretched her legs, sitting in a straddle while waiting for the other girls to catch up. after they did, it was time for a quick warmup jog before they went over stunts. jade was a flyer, which wasn't necessarily easy, but she couldn't imagine being a base and having to actually lift someone off of the ground for so long. she quickly gathered the girls up and they began the lap, with her in the front as usual. they didn't run quickly, but she was in the front and the co-captain was in the back to keep the girls from slowing down. she passed by the football players and met the gaze of none other than the quarterback, tyler whitaker. jade gave him a soft smile before continuing to run.

the sophomore lifted her gaze lightly to meet his eyes once more before she decided it was probably a good time to answer his question. "oh, i was going to the back building. i left my english notes in the classroom." she muttered, half to herself and half in response. autumn's grip on her geometry binder tightened slightly.

Emerson nodded as he listened to her reasoning before slightly shifting closer to her. He tilted his head as he lightly bit his lower lip. "Well, would you like some company? I've been looking for the perfect excuse to procrastinate doing my homework, and hanging out with the school's jokester definitely seems like a good excuse. " The boy asked with a small grin as he gently played with the chains attached to his black skinny jeans. After a moment the boy reached up to tuck a stray hair that had fallen over his eyes behind his ear.

she blushed lightly when he bit his bottom lip, praying to herself that he didn't notice. autumn smiled lightly. "yeah, that'd be nice." she said softly, tucking a stray piece of platinum blonde hair behind her ear, simultaneously with him. she was trying to hard to pretend she hadn't noticed that. she held her books close to her chest, letting her feet guide her to the back building before she looked back to make sure he was coming with her while she opened the door.

"of course it is! who would have ever thought of playing matchmaker?" a wide grin spread across reina's face and she leaned in closer to will, voice dropping, "well.. it looks like these two will be easy," she whispered, successfully holding in a laugh as she watched the two underclassmen interact. as the two began to move, she lightly touched will's arm and whispered, "I'll go after them," and winked before she began to follow them, eyes on her phone to appear discreet.

"alright. text me details!" he said, shoving her playfully as she walked away and he pulled out his phone to make sure he had her number. he quickly sent her a text. Ezra was in the music room, close to finishing up a private music lesson that he had every week. He was currently playing the harp, being watched closely by the teacher, but he had his own focus on the instument, carefully plucking the strings and sometimes prolonging a note. He hummed under his breath as he played, since it usually helped him, and then, once the song was finished, the teacher declared the lesson to be over, gave Ezra a few notes on his technique and how he played, then left the room, holding the door open for Ezra to leave. Thanking him brightly, Ezra went down the corridor, intending on going to his locker, so that he could put away a few of his school books that he wouldn't be needing in a couple of days.

the soft buzz of her phone brought reina's attention from the couple back to the screen and quickly read the text. "if ezra's not on the second floor already that might be difficult. do you know where he is?" she typed quickly, thumbs flying even when she glanced up to find where her couple had gone. unknowingly she picked at the dried paint on her fingers as she tried to look as normal as possible.

August swore she heard someone call her name. She stopped and turned around and saw Egypt. “Oh, hi!” She shouted back and gave her an energetic wave she started to make her way over to Egypt and stopped in front of her, “I have practice in a bit, but how's your day been?” She asked.

Marvin set in his desk timidly, the dark and ominous feel of the school put knot's in his stomach. He slowly got up from his unstable desk that tilted another way when he arises from it; and set out to the library. The library was his safe haven- so many books to distract him from impeccable chaos that was going on around him. He scoured his favorite shelf in the fiction section. Once he got the book he desired he sliced it out from the other books that were sandwiching it together. As he reached down to put it under his arm and retreat to the table in the corner he could see ruby through the empty book slots."Psssst! Ruby! Its me! he said in a monotone whisper through the empty bookcases. He softly smiled hoping for her to return the gesture; after all,they never got along quite well.

the brunette made the last minute decision to go to the library, and sat down at one of the tables to study. she got bored very quickly and let her bookish nature get the best of her. standing up, ruby walked over to the shelves and began to look for something that might be entertaining. she suddenly heard her name and looked up to see none other than marvin roberts as the one who was calling her. she was utterly confused- they had never gotten along before. maybe once as kids, but not since. she didn't want to be hostile though, so she gave him a small smile. "oh, hey marvin. what's up?" she asked.
