Showing very little interest in the interactions happening before him, Gus let his fingers tap against his thigh as he tried to keep himself entertained for the moment. To think he had only come with one goal in mind was crazy. The whole group came as an extra to his goal. Of course he missed his friends from high school, but after reflecting about his relationships with them, he knew he was a bit of an outsider and it was already proving to be true. He should have known it was a bad idea to come. His gaze moved from the group that had formed before him to a figure that was approaching. Yet another familiar face. He was half expecting it to be Erin or even Cassidy, but to his relief it was neither. Smiling in Alec's direction as he came to join him off to the side, the Swede dipped his head as a greeting. "Long time no see, eh? he chuckled.

He knew Alec and him had always struggle to keep up conversations, but even if there was silence between them it never felt awkward to him. Sometimes he needed someone he could enjoy some peace and quiet with. The others couldn't all necessarily do such a thing. There were a few that might, but the male beside him was always the first that would come to mind if asked. "Where has life taken you in these last few years?" It was a lousy attempt to start a conversation, but he was curious as to what Alec had been up to of late.

➢ Adelle shook her head at him, an amused smirk curling her top lip. "Okay, since when is being early considered a bad thing?" She shot back, a rhetorical question more than anything else. Turning her attention to Rose, Adelle rolled her eyes. "Wow Rose, you are so dramatic," she teased, knowing full well that drama was her own area of expertise. Charles' brag of acquiring the girls' numbers made her breath catch in her throat. She shook her head slightly to regain her composure, of course she didn't expect Charles to have waited for her all these years, why would he? He was smart, funny, attractive... any girl would be lucky to have him.

Peaches' arrival provided a welcome escape from the uncomfortable situation that Adelle had pretty much put herself in. "Peaches! Hey, how have you been!!" She stepped around Fao enveloping the smaller girl in a hug. Adelle wasn't a giant, standing at 5'5", but Peaches was tiny. "It's so good to see you!" She exclaimed as she released her friend.

Rose rolled her eyes at Fao’s comment about him winning with hellish flights. “If I recall correctly, back in highschool I won everything.” she smirked at her old friend. When Peaches arrived, she waited for Adelle to finish hugging her, then engulfed her in an hug of her own. Since they had all seen eachother last, she had done what no one would ever expect- she went to law school. And not just any law school. Harvard. She almost laughed at the thought of her being a lawyer, going from breaking the laws to worshiping them. Still; she was the same dauntless Rose that she has always been. Throwing a slide glance at Gus, she felt her stomach flip. She hadn’t thought of him for a while until she was invited. She wasn’t sure she was ready to see him; even after all those years.

Cassidy Carter was notorious for being fashionably late to just about everything, and that included reunions that came with a trip to Hawaii. Nothing he ever did was done in a hurry, except for history research papers and essays seeing as he could usually get those finished in under twelve minutes, ten on a good day. He took his sweet time packing to head to the airport and took his sweet time driving himself there. Don't be fooled, he was quite excited to be able to have some time to relax. The college he was attending was highly prestigious and, naturally, worked their students to death, which Cassidy hardly had a problem with. He worked himself to death, anyways. His main concern was how he was going to relax when he was going on vacation with stuck-up people like Adelle and soft-hearted people like Alec or Brielle. There were a few people he was excited to see, like Charles and Erin and definitely Magnolia, but he had a bad habit of dwelling on a situation's negatives and letting the positives pass him by.
His luggage was just a duffel bag filled with the necessities, like his Ernest Hemingway novels and his ten-thousand different dress shirts and sweaters. Comfort and coziness were important, and so was the decency of a few button-ups. He was also sure to pack a compass, a map, a few Tommy Dorsey CDs, and a stress ball just in case Adelle became too insufferable or Charles pulled a really bad joke. He decided, only then, that he was set to go. Of course, he took even longer just scouring his messy apartment for anything else he may need, then finally decided to drive to the airport -- after he got a breakfast donut and coffee.
He smelled of black coffee when he stepped out of his vehicle, grabbed his luggage, and headed into the airport. He wasn't exactly sure where they were meeting, or what exact time they would depart, but he was certain he'd figure it out very soon. He wandered around the airport for a while until he caught sight of a group of familiar people. His eyes immediately fell to Adelle's light blonde hair, but then they moved to Charles and finally, Magnolia. A few others were there, like Rosa, Alec, Faolan, and Augustus, but all he really needed was Erin and he'd be alright for the trip. The fact that she was currently absent was making him quite nervous. He needed everyone to all be there at the same place at the same time, and that included Brielle, whom he also didn't see. He suppressed his feelings, though, and approached the group with his usual less-than-pleased expression.
