raising her hand to her forehead in a dramatic manner, riley flopped to the floor, "oh, how could I, the great medic, be seen with a mere mortal, with a blanket around them to keep them warm," she exclaimed, "it would be an absolutely outrage for my reputation." with a grin and a flourish of the wrist, she picked up a stray blanket and wrapped it around herself. she was known for her playful, teasing personality, as it often brough much needed positivity to serious situations. "course its fine, you egg. maybe we'll start a new fashion trend," she stated reassuringly, stricking a model pose, before opening the front door again, ready to head out and face the officials.

With a short, gleeful laugh, Rein hopped off the table and let all the blankets fall to the floor in a magnificent fwump, but as soon as he was exposed to the cool air, a violent shiver wracked his body. Being in a warm cocoon for all hours of the night then suddenly not having that warmth is like being slapped with a block of ice. "This egg is regrettably very small. It's at these moments I curse my fragile Asian genes. But yes, it could definitely be a new fashion trend." he spoke jokingly, bending down ever so often to fold the used blankets in a neat pile before picking out one with a laugh. It was baby pink, and he wrapped it around himself and spun around to face his friend. "Does it suit me?" Rein stuck out his bottom lip and feigned a pout, fluttering his eyelashes jokingly.

riley unintentionally let out a concerned sigh at rein's aggressive shivering, not surprised by the action due to the freezing weather conditions and his small frame, but still worried nethertheless. "you look absolutely fabulous, darling," she replied in a fake american accent. by the way they acted, she wouldn't be surprised if people thought they were an item. they were close in terms of friendship, and were very comfortable with each other."do you think the deliverers would let us go out with them?" she asked aloud to her partner, pondering if she'd actually be any help. they'd be able to carry more items, as it would be another pair of arms, but it would slow down the sleigh. but then again, she knew what she was looking for in terms of medical items. "I mean out on the supply run," she rushed to clarify after a moment's thought, "not out on a date with them."

Reins fake pout fell into a grim line, sighing tiredly before making his way towards the entrance. "I'm not sure, Riley..." he trailed off, his mind calculating Asher's responses to her request. Maybe, in a highly unlikely situation, one of them would offer to take her with, but he severely doubted that. Being a deliverer is a high risk and dangerous job, and he somehow knew Kade wouldn't want Riley exposed to that. "But you're a medic, and highly valuable to the faction."

He offered her a sincere smile from over his shoulder and slowly opened the door to the very much cold outside world. Rein scrunched up his face when hit with the freezing air, only just realizing how sheltered he was inside the little medical room. "Samui, kuso!" He squeaked, bringing the pink blanket closer to his body.

Hearing excited barking, Analise turned in time to see Hendrix and Maia running towards Micah, Cassie, and Rio. Smiling, she watched the dogs greet each other, beginning to run about and play together in the snow. Then looking past the dogs, she saw Kade wave to her, and so she waved back. "Morning," she replied, giving her her usual awkward smile. Maia and Cassie darted by her feet and she stopped short, not wanting to trip over them and go flying into a snow bank. It wouldn't be the first time.

Still sulking, Hyung-Lee listened to the brief conversation between Delaney and Marie, not bothering to look as the jacket was exchanged. Marie said something about leaving, and then he heard her stand up. It was quiet for a moment, when suddenly he felt hot breath on his neck as she spoke directly into his ear. Startled, he jolted, one foot kicking out and nearly hitting the grate in the fireplace. Recovering from his surprise, though, he scowled, narrowing his eyes. "Now what're you up t-" He was in the middle of shouting at her when he felt her hand suddenly clasp onto the side of his neck, pulling him to the side so that her lips connected with his cheek. By the time he had regained the ability to think, she was already up and heading towards the door.
Shaking his head, he blinked, staring wide-eyed into the fire. "Mwo-? Babo!" Jumping up, he whipped around, glaring at the retreating girl, who was clearly trying very hard not to laugh. "Marie! You are so going to get it!" he shouted, running after her. What was she thinking? That stupid girl, trying to embarrass him.

"Oh, uh, okay." River nodded, glancing between him and the cat that now wandered freely about the room. Then looking back towards Twig, he said, "It's nice to meet you. I'm River. Oh, well, you might have already heard that... Hehe..." He trailed off awkwardly, giving a nervous chuckle and rubbing at the back of his neck. Glancing over at Asher, he chewed at his lower lip. Then he cast brief glances over at Patience and Twig. There were far too many people for his liking. He'd like to just get his rations and bounce. He didn't want to be rude, either, though. And maybe interaction with people might be good for him...

Watching his cousin sit down, he closed his book, setting it down in his lap for the time being. "Okay," he replied, shifting a bit. "You?" He pulled the sleeves of his sweater down to cover his hands- not a difficult feat considering that he was rather small. Then sitting up straighter, pulled Cassidy up onto his lap, letting her settle before beginning to pet her along her back.

Marie grinned, quickly slipping on the jacket. It was warm and silky, and again she felt grateful to their leader. "What, coming for more?" She said with a smirk over her shoulder to the boy. Giving Delaney one last wave she opened the doors, running out into the snowy world once more before Hyung could barrel into her. She leaned against the wall outside, her cheeks heated and rosy after what she just did. His skin was.. so soft. Wow. Marie bit her lip angrily,trying to rid her mind of such thoughts.

Toby grabbed onto another branch, trying to climb higher. He found a baby squirrel a few weeks ago and it was now old enough to be released, so that was what he was trying to do. Key word, trying. The baby squirrel definitely didn't appreciate Tobias's effort, and even though it was good that the baby didn't show any signs of being tamed, he kind of hoped that the squirrel would make this easy for him. Nope.

Jaehyuk had left his residence early that morning to gather any sort of wood he could find. The wood usually couldn't be used right away because it was wet with snow, so it had to be collected in advance. The supply was always low and that troubled him. So he often found himself outside on mornings like this, struggling with a dead tree if he was lucky or finding no wood at all if he was less fortunate. He'd recently been able to get his hands on a small axe, so the job was made easier.
He was currently at a makeshift chopping block, hacking branches down to firewood size. A little pile of cut wood was forming at his feet as he progressed. It wouldn't take him long to finish, what with the small amount of wood the faction had. Hyuk enjoyed mornings like this when things were peaceful and blizzards weren't waging war and people weren't starving. He frowned at the thought. A pensive look came over his face, and he didn't realize he'd stopped chopping.

Kai honestly wasn't sure what to do with himself these days. After all his efforts to escape Finland, he only ended right back up in the cold. The irony of it was what killed him, and then, of course, the fact that it had happened in freaking July. He wondered if after winter passed the cold would go away. He wondered if he'd even still be alive. He hummed a little in annoyance as he sat in his chair. He was hanging out in the library more often but wasn't really reading books. Maybe he should. He lifted himself out of the seat and walked around a while, only to eventually find himself in front of the bathroom of all places.
He was nearly hit by the door opening and jumped back in surprise. He recognized the guy who had exited, was it-- Ethan? Eli? "Evan," yes, that was it, "'scuse me, dude." Kai didn't actually have to go to the bathroom, but now that he had shown up in front of the door and someone was there he pretty much had no choice. He grabbed the door but stopped abruptly. "Whoa, you smell like my dad on gambling night. You been drinking?" If there was a smell he'd always be able to detect, it was alcohol. Kai didn't really get into drinking since he became of age, but he wasn't going to judge.

Lexani sighed and averted her mind off of Acorn and stood up, stretching once again.
She made her way into her room and changed into something warm and comfy. Opening the front door, she was instantly attacked by the cold breezes and her teeth chattered from it. "Bad idea, Lex", she huffed to herself. Lexani continued walking passing trees and a few cabins on the tree until she caught sight of a male she didn't meet before. "H-hi!", She exclaimed, stuttering a bit from the chilly air.
