Elija Kalev Hazari [Eli or Kalev] / 21 / Male / Ranch Hand / Ruka
Elija dismounted and walked with Ruka, leading the stallion as they walked. He nodded. "I suppose that will dampen 'Pretty Boy's' spirits about Jace." He said with a smirk. He always referred to Viking as 'Pretty Boy'. It was mostly because he always tried to keep his face and scars hidden when around outsiders who didn't understand. Though the comment itself was a true enough fact. It seemed that he had had eyes for Jace since before Elija had started working there. "Anyway. I hope these city folks at least taught their child not to mess with animals that he does not know." He said as he glanced back towards the people. It was at about that moment the large black German Shepherd that was always with Elija made himself known. The dog walked around from the side of the house. He had been out back eating his meal. He bolted from the porch at top speed, running past the new people and straight to Elija and Ruka.
Viking Jakobs [Viking] / 28 / Male / Ranch Hand / Open
Viking was driving the herd into the pens. The sun seemed to almost reflect off the golden pelt of the
Palomino paint that he road. He drove about a hundred head of cattle in and kicked the gate. "Dog!" At the name, the large Collie jumped against the gate. The force made the gate latch into place. He had trained the dog to do many things simply by saying its name. He looked towards the house and saw the people. Viking wasn't one who cared for new comers. Still, he knew that they were the ones that the place had been left to. He just hoped they didn't try to sell it off. He saw Ruka and Kalev chatting by the main coral and shook his head. Without a word he dismounted and walked into the empty pen. Stoking the fire he had started earlier that morning and placing the branding iron in the flames.
