When the pup was eight weeks old, I got to let it sleep in a box in my room and I woke up one night to a rat in the box with my dead puppy." he explained "Luckily Dad let me pick another pup but it slept in my bed."

Codi flinched, "Oh... Well, Boots isn't a killer, the only meat he eats is in his pellets, and he's around my dog and cockatiel without harming one of the furs... or feathers on them." she explained, her eyes narrowed slightly as she stared down at the rat.

Bryce nodded, not really knowing what to reply with "We used to have horses but we had to sell them when we moved over here, we couldn't bring them out of Australia because we couldn't find a property and there is no Campdrafting over here so Dad wanted to sell them."
