Sam had just unpacked the last of her things and neatly made herself at home once again in her cabin. She sighed but stepped back and smiled Another great start to another great year, she thought. She had gotten there early so her other cabin mates wern't there just yet. She looked at the empty three beds in the room, sheets neatly made and untouched. The beds were simple twin beads that looked like they belonged in a lumberjack's house. Next to them were a set of drawers, one cabinet per bed. The cabin lacked furnishings besides the beds and the cabinets. The only other thing was that there was a large carved wolf sitting in the back of the room, howling. Sam plopped down on the bed and daydreamed, waiting for others to arrive.

Mike sat reclined in a beat up lawn chair with his feet rested on a log stump. This was his favorite place to go every year. The small hypnotizing waves kept him engaged and happy for hours on end, he wiggled his toes in his hot pink socks, or what people told him was pink. He had always been colorblind but that didn't keep him from wearing vibrant colors. It always amused him when people were confused about his color choices, he liked it. He adjusted his sunglasses and smoothed out a wrinkle in his red floral hawaiian shirt. His sense of style was most preculiar but by now everybody at camp accepted it as just some quirk of his. He stood up with a slight grunt and made his way allong the trails to the front of the camp where all of the first years were arriving so he could greet them.
