I bury my head in my hands, the Wii remote dangling loosely from the strap on my wrist. "S-sorry.." I stammer out of embarrassment, trying to ignore the burning feeling on my cheeks.

I grunt "Sorry Ro;" That guy really ticked me off. Lucy looked like she was about to cry. That made me feel terrible. "I wanted to tell you, but-" I stop. I can't tell her I like her?? What if it turns out terribly? What if we aren't friends anymore..? Oh god.

Arin stifled a laugh, "I guess someone hasn't eaten a snickers today." Arin watched as the winner was released, it certainly wasn't peach which lead him to be upset. "What? Who let TOAD win?!" He called jumping up from his seat, then he remembered the boy from the room over and immediately calmed himself. He looked over to his right to see Lucy who seemed a bit upset, he gave her a playful bat on the shoulder. "It's all good; I'm sure i'd freak out if I got hit by Bowser too." He said with in his normal tone. Then he raised his arms over the others on the couch and said, "And we all know that friendship is what really won-" He said, back into another sing-songy tone. He stopped himself there; "Alright, enough of that gooey stuff- I saw Cards Against Humanity!" He said, the playfulness went back into his eyes.

I follow him out to the car. "Nah, it's fine." I say with a smile, sliding into the front passenger seat. I turned to look at him as he said something else, something about wanting to tell me something. "Mm?" I him questioningly, wondering what he had to say.

I blinked back a tear which I quickly replaced with a dry giggle as Arin jumped up, rambling about snickers, then to how Toad won and not Peach, then to how 'friendship won the game'. "Cards against humanityyyyyyyy!" I giggle.

I laugh, everyone seems so cheerful here, not a single care in the world. But I can't stop thinking about the mario Kart theory that I've been working on, running it over in my mind as I watch them play. Then I hear the words 'cards against humanity' and my ears prick up, I don't like playin that game, I'd rather watch.

[The Cure]

I panic. "Nothing." as we get on the road I start telling her silly jokes and the radio is set to old 80's music. As we pulled in I unbuckled quickly and ran to her side of the car and opened the door for her. "We've arrived at the destination, Madame!" I chuckle.

Calvin got up eventually and slammed the door shut out of frustration. He walked over to his laptop and realized he hadn't x'd out of YouTube yet. All the hate was still there, comments ranging from: Hate this video to KYS. He couldn't bear looking at these, but for some reason, as always, his hand seemed to move on its own to scroll down and read more. Calvin sighed and minimized the tab, in case he wanted to depress himself again. He pulled up an editing program and just stared at the screen. He played it through once, the video looked edited and okay, he actually just didn't feel like editing. Calvin waited for the video to render for about 20 minutes before uploading it to YouTube. He closed out of the editing program and there the comments that were made to ruin his life were. It seemed pointless now to go ask those people to shut up, cause he had a feeling he wouldn't be sleeping anyway.
