"DANGIT!" I yell, as I slip from second place to fourth. "DANGIT DANGIT DANGIT!" I growl, my hands shaking. I freeze as I feel people's eyes on me, and my cheeks flush red. I sink down into the couch and hunch my shoulders. Crap. I'm not usually loud.

I blink, looking up at Matt. "I'm tired, sorry! Anyways, as I was saying, I really wanted to meet you! People were talking about you and you sounded nice. Well, it's true." I say, smiling.

"Um, guys, we're at the castle. We're gonna see who wins." Dan coughs. "It's obviously me!"

I grin. "Alright, alright, alright! We'll see about that, Dan!" I challenge.

"DANGIT!! DANGIT!! DANGIT!!" Lucy shrieked.

I stopped talking to Matt as the room went quiet. Everyone was staring at a red-faced Lucy.

I turned my attention to the door and opened it once more. "Hel- Oh? You're new. Are you alone? Are you okay? Do you want to hang out with us? Crash here maybe? I know it's crowded and a tad loud, but I'm sure you wouldn't regret it! Always glad to meet someone new!" I stop a minute. "How rude of me. What's your name?" I think "One more thing.. I'll totally pick up all the stuff. Keep your money Felix."

Arin smirked, "Oh, well all know who the real winner is; Bowser can't stop me from taking that 'W'!" He said with an enthusiastic tone. Even if he hadn't been winning much, he was having a great time. Even if Lucy was getting a bit upset, he still thought it was a tad adorable. "Come on, show me the ministaaaarrs!" He said, trying to ramp up the energy in the room.

I turn and glance at the newcomer. I stand up and decide to greet him.

"Yeah hi, my name is Calvin. Anyways, about it being a "tad loud" is what I wanted to talk to you people about." he said, leaning on the wall. "Some people are trying to focus, and its hard to do that when people are screaming nonsense in the room next to you, so if you won't mind, can you take it from a ten thousand to maybe a twelve? Cause I mean seriously I just pulled up here, its the freaking middle of the night and I am exhausted." Calvin didn't mean to sound sarcastic or rude, but that's just the way his voice was and this was his personality. People often found it hard to tell weather he was joking or not, so things got on his nerves easily. He looked into the room of people, everyone was new to him, and he had a feeling he'd gotten off on the wrong foot by accident.

[The Cure]

I looked a little disgusted/offended. I turned to everyone "Uh.. guys lets tone it down a bit.." I looked to Rosanna. I was a bit hurt by this guy but none the less I pushed him out of the doorway; Keys to my dorm and car in hand and called to Rosanna "Hey, Lets get going." I hadn't really ever acted this way. "We'll be back guys.."

Calvin sighed and walked back to his dorm and banged his head on the desk, not caring that the door was still wide open. He normally cared about privacy but not right now. He'd seen the look on their face. Same as whenever he'd talked to anybody else. Coming here was a mistake, he wouldn't fit in, and that's just how it was gonna be so Calvin here needs to stop thinking of all the stuff he did wrong and actually focus, like he'd wanted.

He scrolled through all the hate comments on his YouTube channel, Calvin gritted his teeth and pushed the laptop away. He couldn't deal with this, everyone was too different. But he swore to himself he'd never end up like his dad, who was normally drunk, even on his 17th birthday. He'd felt bad about the way he had asked them to be a little quieter, but he had no idea how else to ask. He walked over and face-planted on the bed, rethinking his life choices.
