I winced when Bear whispered in my ear. Yeah, of course I liked being flirted with and all.. But.. I just wanted to get to class.

"Sorry.. I think I might be late.." I responded, pretending to look down at my watch. "I'll see you later.."

I treaded off, headed to the Math class which I saw earlier in the day. I then saw the guy I attempted to approach earlier, which was singing with a weird girl which I had never seen before. "Pig.." I whispered, glaring at him as I passed by.

With a good bye wave to the boys I followed Liz. "What's wrong?" I asked her. I don't think I've seen her this frazzled in a while.

He smiled and gave a small bow, "Well nice to meet you, miss Raeleigh. Mind if I call you Rae? Has a nice ring to it." Neo was having a great time and refused to let anyone ruin it, so when he saw the girl from earlier casting a downgrading glare on him, mumbling to herself, he just ignored it and focused on Raeleigh. "My name is Neo." he continued, "as in...Neo burrito." he sorta half-smiled when he realized that didn't make sense. Well, unless you were familiar with the local restaurant, in which most people probably weren't. Neo just shrugged it off with yet another small smile.

By now, her music had ended and she gathered her earbuds and shoved them in her pocket. As she was shoving her earbuds into her pocket a girl pushed past the two, mumbling some words. "Hey!"She gasped, putting her hands on her hips. "No need to be rude."She sneered, crossing her arms over her chest. "Neo?"She repeated, his name rolling off her tongue. "Suits you."She beamed, her bright smile flashing. "Why'd that girl do that?"Rae asked, leaning over his shoulder to look at her quickly.

Hearing her tone I let go. "S-sorry, I'm bothering you.." I say rubbing the back of my neck.

I shook my head. "No.. You're not bothering me." I persuaded, a tear forming in my eye. "Today was just really stressful and I just don't really want to talk with anyone right now, You're not doing anything wrong, and in fact.. I think you're really sweet.." I responded, the tear sliding down my cheek.

I wiped it away, continuing to walk to Math as I sobbed, my head facing downwards.

"Oh, dang," he mumbled, widening his eyes with shock, but mostly awe. That's certainly not the first time this girl has amazed me, he thought, giving a light-hearted, inward laugh. He almost wanted to do a Z-snap as to mock the other girl, but he stopped himself. "Why, thank you." he replied to her compliment, smiling while his eyebrows raised. To answer her question, he shrugged, "I don't know. Maybe she's having a bad day and she's jealous we're having a good one? Who knows? I wouldn't get worked up about it though, everyone has their moments." Neo rolled his eyes, realizing he spoke without thinking for the second time today. But, alas, he again just laughed it off, trying not to ruin the good vibes. "So what class do you have to go to next?" he asked nonchalantly, a thoughtful look plastered on his face.
