Harry allowed the smile on his lips to grow as he slipped his fingers into her hair. "I promise I won't ever let you go," he told her as he gently kissed her cheek. He was glad things had settled down because if they hadn't, he wasn't sure what he would have done in the first place. He wasn't necessarily great in such situations, though he always tried to keep his cool in them and act as though he had everything under control even when he didn't.
Lewis smiled contently before allowing his head to rest on her shoulder, deciding not to argue with her on how he would be as a father. It wasn't worth it anyways. All he wanted was to be able to make himself feel better, not tear himself down even more than he already was. "When the baby comes, I'm sure my mum would love to come and help with it. She'd be able to help out for awhile actually since I'd be able to pay her. I haven't told you this, but my mum is specifically a children's nurse, though she nannies as well since she misses have little ones in the house," he said. It would be better than leaving her alone with the baby all the time, that was for sure.
