A brow raised as she crossed her arms. "Well if you didn't want me here you could've just said so before I agreed to give your dad a break to find the Hunter." She replied, "but yes, just to make sure you don't do something stupid and get hurt more." She looked away and leaned back in the chair with her legs curled under her. She pulled the blanket she brought up around her shoulders.

I slid off the bed, standing up. "I don't mind your company, but I do mind being babied. I need to be out there helping Brad, for all I know, he could be chasing down those hunters and getting himself shot. I don't care what you or my father says, I will always stand beside my brother, no matter what."

Indira put Ahriman's rug on and put him in his stall "Jake, I know you just got here, but do you think I could take Bird out to help a friend find his horses?" she asked hoping that he wouldn't say no.

Jake nodded "My names Jake." she said, not going to shake hands just incase he spooked her horse. "Yeah sure Indira." he said, handing her Bird.

Indira gave him a hug then grabbed Bird's lead rope and swung up onto her back, she took a spare lead rope from Ahriman and kicked the mare back towards where Brad had gone. Eventually she found him "Need any help?" she asked, sitting happily on Jake's horse.

Starla quickly stood and put her hands on his shoulders to push him back down to sit on the bed. "Well whether you like it or not, you are going to be babied." She replied, crossing her arms again. "You gave your father enough scare, and me, and your brother. I'll go and help him, but you're staying here in bed and getting some rest." She then looked away with her eyes on the ground. "I don't want to lose you just yet." She whispered.

I sat back down on the bed, and sighed. The words that she had said felt like a knife tearing at my heart. "I'm sorry I scared everyone, but we're cowboys, it's on occupational hazard (yes I stole this line from How To Train Your dragon). I am going to go out there and do what's right."

He smiled as Indira rode up, "yes and no. I already found one horse, but I still need to find Adam's horse and I need to look for the other riders." He ran his hand over his face, "Adam knew where everyone was riding at, I need him out here."

Indira nodded "I can ride back and get him if you want?" she asked, gathering the reins and preparing to ride Bird back to the stable.

She sighed softly, leaning her forehead against his. "I know, but just this once, just let us handle things for awhile until you get better. You took a pretty bad fall, you could be gotten killed." She placed a light kiss on his forehead. "Just rest, I'll get you some water and some pain killers for later before I head out." She then went down to the kitchen and grabbed him a large glass of water and some ibuprofen for later and jogged upstairs and set the water on the nightstand and the two pills on a napkin by the water. "There." She added. "I'll be back later, once Brad and I find the hunters." Giving him a smile she then jogged back down the steps and out the door to hop into the saddle. Whistling, she spurred her mare into the direction Brad had gone to find the hunters.
