She woke up, hearing her blaring alarm and reached over to shut it up. The strawberry
brunette sighed, opening her eyes and staring at the ceiling until she tumbled out of
bed. Pulling herself up, she brushed the thick wavy hair from her face and yawned
loudly walking over to her dresser and throwing together an outfit. She pulled on the
outfit which consisted of a black and white jumper and greyish leggings and her regular
blue converse. Her shoes really stood out on that outfit.. She wrapped her hair up into
a bun and grabbed her phone, walking out to the small living room and sitting down
sighing softly. She looked around the couch for her glasses, until she one of her older
pairs, and popped those on, flopping down on her back.

Paige was never happy when things involved her having to leave her nest of blankets and pillows let alone before noon, but this summer Paige had gotten a job and subsequently promised herself that this was going to be a good summer and being late on the first day wasn't going to help. She rolled out of bed and onto the ground and blindly grabbed various bits of clothing since most all of her clothes matched each other since it was just a mix of black, grey, and dark red. She slipped on black tights, black denim shorts, a grey Columbus Zoo sweatshirt, and a large red flannel plus a black slouch beanie to cover her mess of hair. Paige grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder as she grabbed some money from the counter and her skateboard and made her way to work.

I wake up frantically from a dream and look around.
I'm in my apartment building. Good. The dream
... he was with someone else. I came back for nothing.
I shake my head, It was just a dream. Boxes scatter
across the floor and I sigh. "I need to unpack" I mumble and
run my hand through my hair. I pull the covers off my bed
and walk into the kitchen. I put on a pot of coffee and sit
down at the table. Clover, my kitten, struts into the room.
She parks herself at my feet and sits down, looking up at me.
I smile, knowing that she's hungry. I walk over to the
cupboard, pull out her dish and pour some food into it.
I set it on the floor and watch as she digs her face into the
bowl. I return to my spot at the table. All I can think about it
him. Does he still love me? I laugh softly to myself.
It's a fake laugh, but I try. He must have found someone
else. Does he even know I came back?

"Beep Beep Beep." Irina heard her alarm go off loudly as she woke up with a yawn. Too tired. Going back to sleep... She thought in her head now wondering why she even set up the alarm. There was no school around this time of year, it was July. Summer break for Irina had started. Irina finally decided to get up after a bit getting up groggily opening her eyes. Coming her hair and making herself neat wearing a shirt and a skirt she went downstairs and grabbed some cereal.

Calum stared at the coffee cup in his hands, the hot liquid quickly cooling in his hands. She was here. When they broke up, his parents had decided it would be good for him to get away, as well as his father getting a better job opportunity across the country at Microsoft. He moved back to his home town several months ago, after being 'fine' for years, and he was back to his depressed self. Of course, he had tried to play hero. Pft, he was never doing that again, not after what she did to him. Never. His gaze hardened, and he stood, tossing the red cup of caffeine into the trash receptacle and shoving his hands into the pocket of his black sweatshirt. As much as he tried to deny it, he still loved Hadley. He loved her with all his heart.
It was early, and yes, he was up. He didn't used to be an early riser, quite the opposite in fact. But for the past few years, he hasn't had much motivation for doing anything, including sleeping, eating, and having any social interaction. And it showed. He was once a healthy weight for a 6'3" male, muscular and happy, almost always smiling. Anyone who knows him now, though, can't remember the last time he smiled, and his much skinnier. It would be hard to recognize him. It's visible to someone who is blind that he is broken, but Calum denies it. No. He's the hero, the boy who fixes the broken girl. He doesn't need fixing. Calum flipped the hood up on his sweatshirt, the rounded the corner to move out of the familiar park and onto the sidewalk. Just because, he mumbled a few profanities under his breath as he moved down the dirty sidewalk, eyes watering- from the cold, or the foreign rush of emotions, he didn't know. Cal ducked his head to hide them, and shouldered by anyone who stepped in front of him.
