"But I wish there was something that would tell us her name. She doesn't have any tags or anything." she looked back at Baylee. "You can help us by getting some rest and taking care of your little sister for now, you can't help us if you're exhausted." she smiled down at Stevie. "Tomorrow is a brand new day, we can find something useful for you to do then, if that's what you want."

Cullen cleared his throat and followed Jay. "Do you live in this neighbourhood?" he said. "I haven't seen you around here before but the worlds a big place so maybe we just never crossed paths." he said, since he only lived a block down the road. He shivered as the water seeped through his clothes. "I want to go see my house but I'm scared of what i'll find." he muttered, enough so Jay could hear.

Sparkles licked her lips, she was annoyed that he had picked her up without her permission but she choked back any growling in fear she wouldn't get food. She purred and sat in the seat, eating the tuna. "Thank you, sir." she meowed, looking up at him and closing her eyes to say thanks. She knew from her last people that this was the way you could communicate with the humans.

Petting the cat, he looks around, seeing no one, he sighs. Looking down at the cat, he says, "I guess you're gonna come with me." Smiling he looks at the gas signal, seeing it had run out he groans and punches the door. "Go figure," He says, shaking his head, and grabbing his bag and knife. "Or we go on foot," He says.

Venturing back into the icy water, Kodi trudged along. It was more shallow then it had been a few minutes ago, which was a good sign to the group. He looked up at the two boys. Who were talking about where they lived, or something in the strange human language. Kodi walked up some stairs to a large building, full of book cases and books. 'What an odd place..' Kodi thought to himself.

'What did Lucy yell at me about?' Mia jumped up and started digging. 'Maybe she will remember my name if I do something Lucy always yelled at me for doing.'
