Amelia watched Atreyu as he seemed worried about Raven... She could see how much he cared about her. She needed to be nice, she needed to cope, she needed to block out her insecurities. A tear rolled down her cheek, but she didn't move or point it out, hoping no one would notice. She turned to Raven and spoke, her voice cracking, "You can come." She tried to smile, but her eyes were all watery. She hoped Raven nor Atreyu could see how upset she was.

Lilith loved talking about her animals, so she gained a little bit more confidence as Aiden smiled at the two. Wish did not seem to want to come out of her cage, she just stood with her head peeking around the corner meowing. "That's Butterscotch," Lilith said in her heavy Irish accent while she pointed at the dog, Aiden was petting. Lilith then bent down and picked up Wish, carrying her over to Aiden. Lilith sat criss-cross next to him with Wish in her lap and spoke softly, "And this little girl is Wish." She smiled shyly at Aiden. She then added in a softer voice, "They're both 2 months old. I rescued them from the shelter a week ago."

He sat down as well and kept petting Butterscotch "They're so sweet! I can't believe someone would actually put them in a shelter" he said tickling the dog's belly and in the mean time leaning towards Lilith to pet Wish. He loved pets, always had. He smiled at her, noticing how she loved talking about them.

Lilith smiled back at Aiden as he smiled at her. She was beginning to like him and felt a bit nervous as he lent towards her. She had butterflies in her stomach, but she was trying hard to cover it up. Her eyes gave away the little crush she was developing on him though. She continued to speak calmly in her Icelandic accent though, "I couldn't believe they were in there either. They had just arrived an hour before I went there. Apparently, someone had left them abandoned on the side of the road." Her smiled faltered after she told the sad story, but she quickly regained her smile as she said, "I'm glad I could give them home." She rubbed Butterscotch's belly and her head brushed over Aiden's, but she didn't yank her hand away, she hadn't noticed.

Raven noticed the tear roll down Amelia's face, but didn't mention it. Why do I have to make this such a huge deal? I doubt Atreyu even likes me the same way I like him, so why does it matter? Ugh, I just need to let it go and give Amelia a chance. Besides, it's the only fair thing to do. she thought to herself. "I wouldn't mind tagging along," she started, and then took another look at Amelia, "but, I uh, don't want to bother you guys about it. I think I'll just go buy Echo a leash." Raven looked down at the ground again.

Jacky smiles still looking at the table, but sways and nudges him "It's a pretty. cheap. look?" Jacky replies sounding like a question. She coughs and looks back over at him smiling slightly still.

He looked at the pets "aww" he commented on the story. He felt her hand and gave her a light smile before slowly picking the dog up to put him in his lap so he was able to tickle his belly even better. He chuckled softly and scratched Butterscotch's chin lightly "He's adorable" he said with a smile, letting him grab his finger with his teeth.

He chuckled a bit, nodding. "I see. Now, was that a statement or a question?" He grinned teasingly at her, making fun of the way she said it. It did come out rather question like.

Atreyu || Amelia, Raven

He was surprised to see that Amelia appeared to be crying, and standing up, he said hurriedly, "Uh, I'm sorry, did I say something?" He had no clue why she was suddenly crying, but there obviously had to be some reason. "I'm really sorry. Just... just don't cry, okay?" he said, smiling awkwardly. He really didn't know what to say right now. He glanced at the two girls, feeling very out of his element.
