Jacky sighs "Sorry." She felt bad about kicking him, she'd rather kick in that waitress's teeth but that's a different story

He waved a dismissive hand, replying, "Eh, don't worry about it, Starfish. It didn't really hurt that much any ways." He finished up his burger, taking a sip of his soda. "That was quite possibly the best burger I've eaten," he sighed happily.

Jacky rolls her eyes smiling "you eat like you haven't before." She takes her last bite of her salad and wipes her mouth with her napkin

He groaned, replying, "Jaime and my mom rushed me out of the house so fast I barely had time to zip up fly, let alone eat. I'm starved!" Seriously, he had been so hungry he probably would have been willing to eat a raw fish. Oh wait, that's called sushi. Oh well, that stuff's still nasty.

She closed the door behind Aiden and gestured for him to set the bags on the bed nearest the window. She then set down the cage and unclipped Butterscotch's leash from his collar. He went straight over to Aiden, jumping all over his legs. Wish meowed again and Lilith opened the cage. The 2 months old gray tabby kitten peeked her head around the side of the cage and meowed again.
