an old man wearing plaid black underwear came out with a hand gun, "little b*stards!" he said grunting and looking around. his old coon dog came out and sniffed around Cj's spot. Cadence became a little worried. Cadence let out a sigh as the coon dog went back into the house.

The old man looked around once more and went back into the house. Cadence jumped out of the bush and ran to CJ. he smiled down at her and crouched folding the blade into its holder and put it in her hand. "he wasn't going to shoot." he soothed quietly.

She nodded," Just incase, y'know. Precautions." she murmured. She glanced up at him," You okay?" she asked. She was worried that the man would've seen him.
