Summertime at last (New and accepting!)

Jermaine was fresh off graduating high school recently and was getting ready for college. He has taken a part time job at a store in the mall, so that way he has some extra money for college. At the moment though, as it was bright and early, he was getting a morning workout in at the park. Today, he was doing a run on the track. He was only wearing running shoes and a pair of basketball shorts and listening to music on his phone.

Memory stayed in bed for as long as she was able to, soaking up the feeling of the summer. She listened to the quiet noises around her, thinking of what to do today. Finally she managed to get up, and drag herself to the bathroom to get ready. She ran a brush through her hair, brushed her teeth, and stretched out so she wasn't so stiff. Before leaving she threw on an old band tee, some shorts, and an old pair of converse before walking outside into the fresh air. It wasn't so bad to take walks in the early mornings, especially ones like these.

Jared woke up all on his own time, not needing to wake up at a certain time or hear the blaring of his alarm clock. It was finally summer, and he was free from high school...that would be until he went off to college. He got up and changed his clothes, putting on a nay v-neck, black jeans, and black, hightop Converse. The fact that he could do anything he wanted made his day start off amazingly well. He hummed to himself as he walked downstairs, seeing that no one was home. The sunlight shined in through the large windows on the wall across from the kitchen, beating down on the hardwood floor. He never ate breakfast; he's just one of those people who aren't too hungry in the morning. Jared shoved his phone into his pocket before leaving his house.

Aiden started to walk around the park with a small smile on his face as he thought of the days when his dad was alive. "Man do I miss those two.." He then started to think of their deaths and his chest started to feel heavy. 'Not know..' He started to lose his vision and he collapsed on the bench sitting near him. He sat there for a few minutes until his vision came to be and noticed the sun was higher then he remembered. 'How long did I sit here..?' He thought, noticing that it had been longer then a few minutes.

With a long hissing breath, Al gradually came out of a shallow slumber, cracking an eye open to stare bitterly at the ceiling. After a moment, he brought a hand to his eyes, rubbing them sluggishly, a small groan passing his lips. "Kch.." He tisked, noting the twitching pain in his shoulder. Served him right for falling asleep on the couch. He covered his eyes with his arm, still trying to bring himself to wake up fully. "Kite?" He called out after a while of soaking in silence, checking to see if his roommate was awake.

Kite snorted at Al, not wanting to get up. He was still fairly tired, but he managed to open an eye and give a faint groan. "What?" He said shortly, peering over the arm of the couch. He took a moment to think why he was on the floor, but honestly he couldn't care less. "How are you awake before me?" He said under his breath, leaning on the couch with a deep yawn as he spoke. (Hh- Writer's block)

Al peeked out from under his arm, noting Kite's presence just bellow him. "Why're y' on the floor?" He asked rather absently. The redhead sat up, stretching with a yawn. "--Do y' wanna go get breakfast of somethin'?" Al added, not waiting for Kite to answer his previous question. He rubbed his shoulders tenderly, silently wondering what time it was.

Kite let out a faint sigh, glancing around for a few moments. "Aye- sure." He noted, watching Grim rub his shoulder. "What's up with your shoulder?" He asked tiredly, standing with a stretch of his back. It took him a few moments to wake up more, enough to bother with walk around anyways.

Al swung his legs off the edge of the couch, gaze following Kite as he wandered. "Ah, just a bit sore," He muttered, standing up and shuffling down the hall to get changed, yet another yawn parting his jaws. "Where 'd ya think we should go?" He called as he groped at fabrics in the dark, searching blindly for a clean change of clothes. Laundry was a must do for today. Ugh.
