Maxx sighed softly, sitting up a bit straighter as she gave
a small shake of her head "No..never really helps anyways.."
She replied as she played around with a strand of her fiery
hair. She bit her lip and let her shoulders lightly sag "I wanna
watch horror movies and eat ice cream all day.." She admitted
with a sigh as she slumped down and laid on the ground of the porch.
"Weak..I know.." Maxx always hated being vulnerable or weak, but
she really didn't care when it came to this situation.

Danny sat down on the ground, crossing his legs as he sat
down next to her head. He looked down at her and smiled
slightly, "You aren't weak," Danny said sternly to her, his
eyes intensely looking into hers before they drifted off to
the blades of grass he was playing with.

Maxx just sighed and glanced back up at the
sky. She turned her head to him and blinked
twice "Wanna watch movies?" She asked in
a slightly hopeful tone, movies helped get her
mind off of things. "Horroorrrrr." She added,
dragging the word out slightly as she gave a
little 'cat' swipe.

Danny smiled when Maxx's face beamed when she suggested
they watched movies, he was about to say yes but as soon as
Maxx said horrors he shook his head, "No, no, no, no" He said
quickly, folding his arms over his chest like a stubborn kid.

Maxx pouted and whined slightly, turning her head to
him, she gave him the 'puppy' look, fluttering her eyelashes
lightly "Pllleeeeeassseee?" She asked, sticking her lower lip
out and raising her eyebrows slightly as she looked up at
Danny.

Danny kept his face strong and determined, his features hard
but as soon as Maxx started pleading and giving him a puppy
look he gave up, "Fine, but I will complain the entire time,"
Danny told her as he got up and made his way inside.

Maxx smirked lightly and stood, following him inside.
"Softie." She whispered as she passed him and plopped
onto the couch, grabbing the remote and turning it on.
She began to search for movies and slightly grinned as
she selected The Lazarus Effect, turning to Danny
and wiggling her eyebrows.

Danny took a seat next to Maxx, grabbing the blanket and laying
it over their laps. He watched as Maxx selected her horror movie
of choice, "I'm really not liking this already," Danny told her as
she clicked on The Lazarus Effect, "I'm scared and it's just started."

Maxx snickered lightly and rolled her eyes, lightly reaching over
and punching his arm gently "Mam up already. Lord, you're like a
little baby." She spoke with a mock exasperated sigh and a shake
of her head as she clicked the play button and put the remote
away before leaning back into the couch and waiting for the movie
to load. After loading, it began to play the beginning and Maxx
watched the screen intently.

"I'm sorry for not enjoying crazy gore and creepy little girls!" Danny
exclaimed defensively, looking from Maxx to the tv screen. He got
his pillow ready to hide behind.
