Maxx huffed "Cut the crap. Tomorrow is my mom's death anniversary. " She said,not really caring anymore as she grabbed another one and let the liquid burn down her throat. She licked her lips and reached for her next, feeling the slight energetic buzz already

Danny felt his insides curl when Maxx explained what tomorrow was,
he didn't want to do a heart to heart with her in the middle of a loud
club - so he just followed Maxx's lead and downed the shots one after
the other until he was left with five empty glasses, "Can you handle
any more?" Danny asked with a hiccup, his speech slightly slurred.

Maxx just rolled her eyes and gestured for the tender to get more. As fresh ones came in, she immediately tipped one back, feeling completely buzzed ad she absent minded nodded he head to the blasting music.

After having about 12 shots in total, Danny began to feel
loose and dizzy, not aware of his surroundings at all. The
DJ started to play some good dance music, "Let's go0--"
Danny went to take a step off the bar and tripped, falling
on the floor with a thud. He lay there for a moment, trying
to process what happened. He felt a sharp pain around his
eye but he didn't care - he just started laughing hysterically.

Maxx giggled, something she didn't normally do. She slipped off of her stool and pouted "I'm going to dance." She slurred as her small frame disappeared into the wave of drunk and sweaty bodies. She giggled lightly as she danced around.

Danny slowly rise back onto his feet, stumbling after her,
"Maaaaaaxx," he sang slightly as he looked around for her,
he noticed her fiery hair and smiled to himself. "Dancing,"
He said stupidly - for no reason - as he too started to sway
to the music, moving his body and head to the beat.

Maxx continued to dance around until her head pounder. She made her way back to the bar and tilted back another shot, wiping her mouth drunk ly as she glanced around. She giggled lightly as a few drunken girls surrounded Danny.

"It-is.. it's like Magic Mike," Danny shouted over to Maxx as he indicated
to a four girls dancing around him and toying with his clothing. Danny
just danced happily along to the music.

Maxx laughed and grinned "Yessir. " She replied drunk ly over the music. She yelped as some random guy put his hands on her hips but she was too drunk to care so she just kept dancing.

Danny frowned slightly when he saw some guy dance with Maxx,
he felt jealous - even in his drunken state, "Come on," he whispered
into the ear of a blonde that was toying with his shirt collar as he
lead her further into the dance floor and started dancing closely
with her.
