"Yep, I'm Laura, but you can call me. . . um, Laura" I said awkwardly to my new roommate, Alex. I pulled on pale, black-nailed hand out of my hoodie. "I'm twenty four, how old are you?" I ask her. She looked about twenty, although she was probably older. (Bird randomly flies on to the porch I'm on xD) "Also, what's your favorite type of animal here? Mine are the tigers." I ask in addition to how old she is.
