Looking down at the handwritten instructions, Alex took a deep breath and looked up at the building in front of her. After adjusting the strap on her bag she made her way into the building. She took note of the cleanliness of the room before making her way over to the front desk. Noticing the person at the computer she smiled, "Hello. Um... is this the place where the interns go? I just want to make sure i'm not lost."

A groan sounded through the room the alarm clock blared. Slamming his hand on the alarm, Luke sat up and ran a hand down his face, today was going to be a long day. He knew he was late so he quickly got dressed and ran out of his apartment to his '98 jeep wrangler. Luke arrived later than he wanted to be, but he only noticed a handful of vehicles in the parking lot. He hopped out of his jeep, making sure to grab his wallet and phone and made his way towards the building. As we was walking by one of the vehicles, a young man stepped out of it. Luke smiled at the other person, "Hi there, name's Luke. Are you here as an intern too?"

Kieran whirled around, taken off-guard by the sudden appearance of a man roughly around his age. He hadn't even heard another car rumble into the lot. Just serves to show how good he was at analyzing his surroundings, heh. Pushing the surprise off of his face, the young male equipped a smile. "I'm Kieran," he replied, before approaching Luke for a handshake, per his custom greeting. "And yea, I'm here for the intership. What do you think of the park so far?" Kieran felt as if the park was amazing, in his own personal opinion. So many different creatures, oh, it was so interesting!

Hayden mumbled a little as he finished sending an email. Right as he did he heard the sound of a young girl. "Interns...?" he mumbled under his breath forgetting why he was in the room he was in. Once he recalled why he was in the main building in the first place. "Right, interns!" he said with a smile as he looked at her. "No you're not lost," he said with a smile as he turned away from the computer and walked away from the desk. His smile was still there, he was always happy when interns showed up. "I'm Hayden, I'll be showing all of you around and training you. Who might you be?"

this was all new to her. new and highly strange. she had lived in the jungles of asia for her entire life. sure, she had seen phones and cars and things like that before, but the airplane that she had to fly in to get over here? it was a living death trap. the huge metal thing shouldn't even be in the sky, it was completely defying all odds, and the girl had been on end the entire flight. she had never been so happy to reach the ground. and now, as she drove towards the park, she felt no nerves, only excitement. her parents had managed to get one of their old friends in the area to allow jenna to borrow his old jeep for the time she would be interning, something she was greatful for. if she had to ride in a bus or a taxi, so enclosed, compared to the openness of the jeep, she might as well just die. shaking her head, she pulled up and parked, looking around with her hazel eyes. she spotted several groups of people, but ignored them for the time being, hopping out of the keep and clucking lowly. it was gorgeous around here. a low purr was heard as soft fur rubbed against her leg, and she looked down, smiling at her huge savannah cat aabis. she hadn't exactly asked if she could bring him, but to be separated would destroy her. the large cat was a mix between some domestic breed and an African wild cat, thusly his huge size, roughly as tall, if standing on two feet, as a five year old child. spotting a main office building, she approached and entered it, seeing a young girl her age talking to a slightly older but still young man. "hello. am I to assume I'm in the right place for my internship?" her smile was friendly, her left hand keeping her pet occupied by stroking its head.

"This place looks lovely by the way, I can't wait to see the rest and i look forward to working here." She kept her attitude cheery and her mind worry free. The last thing Alex wanted was to freak out and worry before the day even started. She turned at the sound of another person and gave them a smile.

Right as he pulled his hand back, the door opened and another girl walked in. His smile still stayed on his face but just slightly faded. "Yes, you would be in the right spot." he commented, his eyes looking down to her side seeing the pet. "And you two are?" he asked, his hands going into his pockets. Hayden looked a little past her through the glass door, seeing two other bodies outside. 'Four.' he made the mental note that there were about four more left.

The male considered this question, pondering it for a little while. Truthfully, he didn't have much of a reason. There was no outlandish childhood experiences with animals, nothing that pressured him into the career. He just.. wanted to be a zookeeper, for reasons unknown. Kier loved to interact with the animals, for he found the various personalities charming. "Well, uh, I suppose that I was inspired by the animals themselves. And what about you?" The male asked, before tilting his head to the side in an interested manner.

the sweet girl grew a little bit uncomfortable when she spotted the way that the slightly older man looked at aabis. he did not at all seem happy about it, and she gently chewed on her plump, pink lower lip. "my name's jenna, jenna jay. i'm the intern from asia. and this is aabis, my savannah cat. he is completely tame, I promise, his nature takes after his domestic side rather than the wild half." she noticed the other girl smiling at her reassuringly, and she smiled at her as well, although it didn't quite reach her eyes, since she was still a bit nervous about her cat. "I'm sorry I didn't mention him, I didn't even think about it until I was on my way, driving here."

Mettea sat in the back of the car, earphones blasting music on almost full volume. Her back was stright, hands in lap and her chin was proped up ever so slightly. This is was way she had been taught to sit, and found it very uncomfortable when she slouched forward. If her mother ever caught her out of line, she would get a huge lecture on how she needed to sit stright up to support her back. At the moment, she was rambling on about something in Italian, which Mattea couldnt be bothered to listen to. It was most likely on how she needed to behave herself on the internship and whatnot. The female sighed to herself and looked out the window, mouthing some of her words to the song.
Her eldest brother, Marcello, was driving her and her mother to the wildlife park. Her mother didnt trust her to drive out here by herself, which was a invasion to her. Mattea was a safe driver, well at least she thought so. And what better way to take her new car on a test run than driving herself to her internship? Mattea shrugged to herself, sighing once more before she saw her mother sharply turn her head around. The female gasped and pull out her earphones at the speed of light, so it looked like she wasnt listening to anything. Her mother said something about obedience, and went back to facing the road.
Finally, after 3 long hours of listening to her mother and brother go on about the wildlife park, they had arrived. Mattea quickly picked up her things and got out of the car, opening the boot of the car and grabbing her duffle bag and swingging it over her shoulder. Mattea closed the boot and watched her mother get out, opening her arms for a hug. She rolled her eyes and hugged her mother, kissing her cheek before going into the wildlife park. She saw a few others arrive atr the same time, and hope that she'd get along with most of the people here.

Jacob was playing his drums for the last time before he had to go to the wildlife park. He loved his drums more than anything, he had had a strong connection to them even since he started playing. At the age of 4, his parents bought him a small drum set for his birthday. As he grew older, he started to upgrade these sets to the full set he has today. Until the age of 15, he was self taught, but didnt even have his drums set up right. For his 15th, his parents decided that it was time for him to have lessons, and he basically had to start all over again due to his drums being out of place. 5 years had done a lot for Jacob, now that he can play almost anything he wants to. But to not be able to play his drums for a long time period was going to kill him from the inside out.
As he heard his father call from the first floor of their house, he finished up the song The Pretender by the Foo Fighters. Once of his first and utterly favorite songs to play. On the last hit on the drum, he tried his best not to let his eyes water. He stood up and set his drum sticks down, pushing up his glasses from the end of his nose. He knelt down beside his drums and spoke to them softly, telling them that he'd be back in time to play them again. Jacob stood up, patted his drums to went up the stiars, looking at his drums the whole time before cutting on his gaze. He found both of his parents waiting in the kicthen with his bags in their hands. His mother looked like she was about to cry, so he went up to her and hugged her. "You grow up so fast..." she said to him in his ear, letting go and handing him his bags. Jacob looked over to his father with a smile, and hugged him aswell. If there was something that Jacob loved more than his drums, it was animals.
He went to his car with a smile, throwing his stuff in the back and slipping into the drivers seat. He turned the car on and beeped the horn a few times as he was reversing out of the driveway, watching his parents wave as they put their arms around each other. Once he was out of sight, Jacob put in his CD and started to play some music, tapping to the beat with his hands and sometimes his feet. He didnt live far from the park, maybe a hour in the traffic allowed it. He was on time at the moment, and hopefully would stay on time so he didnt leave a bad first impression.
