Senri quickly takes his suitcase, and walks up the stairs, after saying, "You remind me of my twin" then goes to the boys' room. After he gets unpacked, he wonders where the school will be. And if they have courses hard enough for him, probably not. Senri was a kid genius, but wanted to let a select few know. He finnished college last year. ♞

Isabelle quickly shakes her head and signs back with a hand that is trembling more, No! She gets her breathing under control but is still pale and terrified. Belle starts to hand the cup of water to Emily because she is afraid that she would drop it or spill water only to have the glass of water fall onto the bed, causing water to soil on the covers and mattress. She tries to grab the cup before it fell only to watch it fall to the ground and break with a crash that she can't here before looking at Emily with frightened eyes and signing, Sorry!

Flynn shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe someone he didn't want to see called him," she suggested. "But it's okay, Parker's really good at handling that stuff. It's kinda nice, cause it makes everyone feel safe." Well, not me, but the other kids. And that's what counts.

Parker sighed. "As far as we know, it's what's called selective mutism. Sometimes, when a kid goes through something very traumatic, like Kimber has, they'll refuse to sleep. Most of the time, it's because they don't want to talk about what happened, or because they feel like it's the only thing in their life they can control," he explained. "Right now, she just really needs someone who she can trust. With time, I think she might start talking again, but maybe not."

Isabelle sadly watches Emily pick up the pieces of broken glass before nodding and signing, Plastic? She lowers her eyes and wraps her arms around her only leg as she refuses to look Emily in the eyes due to the shame of already breaking a cup, even if it was an accident, on her first day in a foster home.

Madeline nodded, heading down the stairs again. She stopped halfway down, realizing what Felix had just said. "But... the new kids..." she stopped. She didn't want to leave anyone out. "Okay, they can play too. But, you have to ask them," she decided, bouncing down the stairs again.

She nodded before going down the stairs. She went into the kitchen and threw the broken glass into the garbage. She grabbed a plastic cup and filled it with water. She went back upstairs and handed it to Isabelle. It's ok. Accidents happen she smiled, trying to reassure her.

Isabelle takes the plastic cup and takes another sip as a little color returned to her face even though the trembling still remained but not as bad as before. She hugs Emily with her free hand as tears started leaking out of her eyes, proof that she is still terrified from the nightmare.
