Giggling, I looked over at Sam before looking back at my plate. "I wonder what we're having.." I thought aloud, before tapping my fingers along the table. I thought for a minute before pulling my phone out again and texting Sam so he had my number. I quickly changed his contact to Sam c: before locking my phone and sliding it back in my pocket/ I glanced the person next to me and raised my eyebrows before moving my gaze back to my plate once more.

I bounded down the steps once I heard Noah calling and slid into the seat next to Carter. When she looked my way I shot a smile at her. "Hey." She rose her eyebrows at me before looking back at her plate. So much for conversation

Noah grinned looking at charlie then turned back to the others, "Okay! " he yelled with the pans up. " after we complete our feast the pets will have one as well." he smiled, "We treat our pets like family right? Now the will eat in the back yard but don't worry the pool will be covered up! " he told then pointing to the back door with the pans. He then took his seat next to charlie and looked at her with a smile, "hey." he chuckled placing the pan under his seat.

Sabrina smiled, "i have to change. Save me a seat! " she told him before walking off to her room. After she changed she ran back to the dining room as quick as she could and took a seat next to dustin.

Sam smiled, making himself comfortable in his seat. He noticed Carter pulling out her phone, and quickly heard the alarm go off on his own. Pulling it out from his pocket, he saved the text, (just in case the two wanted to text later), and also saved Carter a a contact. As he was sliding his phone back into his pocket, he noticed a guy roughly the same age as him slide next to Carter. He narrowed his eyes slightly, shooting a rather harsh glance at him.

Wait, why exactly was he doing this?

No, no, no. Carter wasn't his. She had the ability to do whatever she pleased, and Samuel respected that. But the feeling of jealousy still settled deep within him.

I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Sam not looking in my direction, rather more the other guy. Heat flushed my face as I the thought of maybe, just slightly of Sam being jealous. Quickly shaking my head of the thoughts I looked around at the others surrounding the table.

Looking over her I saw a guy shooting daggers at me with his eyes, quickly I turned away. I bit my lip and turned to look back at the table in front of everyone. "So how has everyone's day been?" I asked aloud to no one in particular.

Sam turned his attention back to Carter. Maybe he'd been a little too harsh on the guy. After all, he just said a simple greeting. Not a "hey, let's date". But the slight feeling of jealousy couldn't spin completely out of Sam's mind, and for some reason, his cheeks had reddened a little bit. Quickly, to not appear too sensitive, he ran his hands down his face and tried to distract himself. Running a few fingers through his hair, he managed to rid himself of the flushed cheeks and get into a more composed attitude.

He'd have to make small talk soon. It was beginning to get a little awkward in all the silence, and less enjoyable for the two. He turned his head to Carter, a smirk on his face. "That adorable accent of yours. Where were you born?" The answer couldn't be more obvious, but if it meant talking to a girl as pretty as this one, he had a list of dumb questions to ask all day.

I turned towards Sam and smiled at him. He just complimented you, don't try and freak him out! I thought for a few moments before speaking. "I'm from Australia." Raking my fingers through my slightly wavy hair I thought of memories of the beach and the adventures I'd have. I could remember the smell of the ocean as I paddled on my surfboard out deeper into the ocean. Quickly, I shook my head of the thoughts before deciding to ask him a question. "Where did you grow up?"

Sam leaned back in his chair, a smirk on his face. Oh, the small talk, what a joy. "Back in Nevada. But I have a feeling you really don't care about that." He said, leaning forward. "Small talk isn't very fun, either. We should go somewhere else. Any ideas?" Sam said, leaning back in his chair once again. He was beginning to get quite bored, and was all ears to Carter. Whatever she wanted, he'd do, as long as it was better than sitting at a table.

An update popped into my head. "Follow me." I spoke, pushing myself away from the table. I turned and started walking towards the steps before looking back. "Netflix?" I questioned him before smiling and bounding up the steps towards my room.

Charlie moved her purse before he sat, putting it under her chair. Hey. She said back, just as Jasper, her brother sat. Charlie looked at Jas. Oh, Noah, you know who this is, right? Jasper, you know Noah. She half introduced.
