Sam smiled, pausing right in front of the couch she was in. "Hey, again." He greeted in return. He felt a little strange, but maybe it was just the food cooking. He had to deny that maybe it was 'butterflies'. After all, his first day was just coming to a close on the island. He couldn't have developed feelings for her that fast.

Returning his attention to the girl, he couldn't help but grin as she pulled her arms into the sweatshirt. A cute little bundle she had made herself into. Getting a better track of his thoughts, he pulled out his phone. "You still planning on giving me that number?" He said with a smirk, not wanting to sound desperate. He heard Noah's loud noises ringing in his ear, and quickly looked back at Carter. Perhaps the two could sit together. Or was he being too clingy? Oh, bother, things would play out eventually.

Charlie was surprised at the clanging noise, but left her room and went to where the noise was. It was, but of course, Noah. She flashed a flirty smile in his direction and sat down at a seat near the end of the table, setting her bag on the seat next to her to save it for Noah.

Sam grinned as he noticed her voice trail off, a sure sign that she thought she was too clingy. Although the feeling was mutual, he pretended to be surprised. "Oh, is this seat for me?" He said with a fake gasp. With a chuckle, he accepted the invitation and sat beside her. If she hadn't sat down so quickly, Sam would've done the proper thing and pull out her chair for her. One missed opportunity, but hopefully he'd have many more.
