I followed after the dogs, fairly slowly as I knew they would not go too far. The two demanded attention so they would eventualy come back. I held Bella as I followed the two medium sized dogs. I watched suddenly as Bandit and Shiloh kept playing. I let out a sigh of relief but I assumed to quickly. Cause I watched as Shiloh nipped at Bandit, causing Bandit to leap backwards and land right onto a girl's lap. The puppy quickly rolled off and my two canines now joined eachother near the female's dog. I hurried towards the two dogs. "Bandit, Shiloh! Get over here!" I called for the dogs as I neared the girl reading the book. The two dogs scowled before walking near me. "I am so sorry. They're awfully clumsy." I said as I glared at Bandit.

She looked up, slightly flustered by the sudden appearance of the dogs. At this moment, Tobias looked at the two other young dogs and tilted his head slightly, still lying down. While reaching out to pat one of their heads, she looked up at the boy. "It's alright", she laughed nervously. "Puppies will be puppies.", she added, closing her book around her finger, which was keeping her page marked.

"More like puppies will teach elders to be morons." I said now glaring at Shiloh. Shiloh was six while Bandit was only a 7 months. When we first had Shiloh, she was extremely mellow and never very active. Now we have Bandit, the two chase eachother all the time. "Sorry for them messing up your reading." I added as I stroked Bella who seemed to disapprove of the dogs.

"I'm just re-reading this, no worries", she laughed, slipping a small piece of paper into the book as a bookmark. Mercedes then slipped the paperback into her bag. She placed the bag back down beside her dog while adding, "I've seen much more crazy puppies... Tobias here was one of them". As she said this, she looked back down, grinning, towards the dog who was wagging his tail at the mention of his name.

Shiloh glanced over at Tobias. A smile appeared on my face. "He's cute." I told her. "My name is Dylan, by the way. This silly pup is Bandit." I said as I lightly tapped the puppy with my foot. "And this mellow gal is Shiloh." I told her as my eyes then landed on Shiloh. "Oh, this is Bella." I said as I held the cat close to my chest.

"Thanks", she laughed. It was an odd name in her opinion, but she realized that a lot of people liked it, so she began to like it a bit more. As he spoke about his life, she listened carefully, thinking about every detail. "That's like a dream life, to own a farm.", she commented,imagining her life as the proud owner of many horses. "You know, you could always ride Juliet if you wanted.", she said, while looking back towards the barn's location. I'd hate to have horses but not ride... That's so terrible. I wonder why..., she wondered.

"I like your name. It's really cool." I smiled. Bella now swatted at my face. I set her down and she trotted off to explore. Shiloh soon joined her as they went and explored. "Horses are cool. I would love to have one. At my house, we have cows. We have about thirty cows and two horses but I am not allowed to touch those horses." I told her.

"Thank you", she said again in a softer tone, her anxiety slightly leaving, but still quite strong. As she listened to him speak about his home, she thought to herself, Wow, having two horses but not bring able to ride them or anything? That's crazy! "So um, why can you not ride them?", she said, pausing, then added softly, "You are welcome to ride Juliet..."
