Vern finally got down to the main floor after unpacking, and looked around. Seeing so many unfamiliar faces was kind of a shock. He tended to keep to his own, and stick close to the friends that he had back home. He wondered, not for the first time, why he agreed to go on the trip at all. This generally wasn't his kind of thing, despite how beautiful the house was. He saw some people around but didn't know what to say, and just sat on one of the sofas, wondering where the TV remote was. A little bit more noise would be nice, but he wondered if it would be rude to turn it on, and also the remote seemed to be nowhere in sight.

he looked at the both of them, "so what do you ladies like to do for fun?" he asked, walking farther into the water. "get splashed?" he smirked evilly and splashed the both of them. he looked down and saw a beautiful seashell. he picked it up and put it in his pocket. he was enjoying himself.

"Fun??" Lyss laughed, splashing Dylan back recklessly before running a hand through her hair, "I plan parties, throw parties...write, occasionally, if I have the muse." She spotted the boy picking up a shell and pocketing it then, looked down at her feet, searching for one of her own. Spotting a sand dollar which seemed to be speckled with stars, the girl picked it up and gazed at it with a smile, "So pretty," She mumbled, slipping it into her pocket just as the boy had done. dylan laughed when she splashed him, the water was a bit cold but he loved it. he thought for a moment, still looking for sea items. he found another seashell, putting in the same pocket as the other. "i like photography." he said simply and shrugged. dylan had a knack for his hobby, he was good but he never showed new friends his pictures, he never really showed anyone his pictures unless they were going to buy it "i like video games and talking to pretty ladies too.'' he teased with a smirk, chuckling a bit also.

Vern looked up suddenly when someone said something. He noticed the two had been seemingly flirting, or could even be a couple by the looks of things, but was shocked when she suddenly broke off and said something. "Oh, hi. I'm Vern," he said, taking her hand and shaking it, trying not to squeeze down too hard. He always overthought handshakes, but couldn't help but feel awkward when he did them wrong. He looked over at the guy with her, and wanted to say something to him, but ended up just nodding his head in his direction as a quick hello, to show he wasn't ignoring him completely. "This house sure is something," he says with a small smile, looking around at everything. "Definitely not what I'm used to."

holland smiled when he said hello back. honestly, she had to give herself a little credit, she had never gotten two cute boys to talk to her in one day. maybe this trip wont be so bad she thought and smirked. she analyzed the guys sitting on either side of her. alex had to muscles and looks and vern had looks and this mysterious vibe about him. she liked both she decided. "yeah, this place is amazing. ive never been in a place this extravagant." she said, really looking around the place once again. "where ya from vern and alex?' she asked them and smiled.

I screamed and splashed back at him. "Lyssa, you should ask if you can throw a small beach party here sometime!, and me, for fun, I attempt to train my puppy, draw, listen to music, hang out with friends." I reply. He said something about liking to talk to pretty ladies for fun, and I said, "I'll take that as a compliment."

Vern smiled, and nodded when she talked about the house, agreeing with her instantly. Despite the fact that his parents had been pretty well off, his house was never as huge or detailed as this one was. Once he moved out, he was used to his small apartment that barely had more than four walls and a bed on the inside. Perks of being totally independent. "Texas," he replied to her question, with a small smile. He didn't grow up out in the country, and he hoped that she didn't associate too many stereotypes with him; he generally fit none of them, and was more of a city boy than anything else.
