xxx'aiden smith uninterestedly looked out the window from the car as his mother drove him and his brother to their new boarding school. his fist weakly supported his head on the back seat. you could say that he wasn't as excited to go to this school. afterall, why should he be? aiden was leaving his friends, and he had to drop out of the football team. all he could do was just hope that his mother was right, and that it wasn't bad here. i doubt it... his mother's car slowed to a stop, and he slipped on his duffelbag stuffed with clothes and his toothbrush over his shoulder. his hand grabbed the handle of the door, and he pushed it open. just as he was about to get out, his mother stopped him in his tracks. "aiden! are you seriously leaving me without saying goodbye?" the jock sighed, and rolled his eyes, but he knew better than to defy his mom. aiden turned back, and planted a quick kiss on her cheek. "oh, bye my baby boy. be safe. take care of your brother and sister!" he scrunched his nose in disgust, stepping out the car.
xxx'the jock turned to his twin and sister as their mother drove away. he gave a light shrug before padding away from them to find his dorm. he shoved a hand in his pocket, and slipped out a paper that had been mailed to him not too long ago. it contain his classes and his dorm number. aiden foldened the paper once he glanced at his dorm, and began to make his way over.

xxx'oliver quietly played with his hands, his mind whirling with all the introductions and converstaion he would 'start' with other people. this was good. this was a chance to stat fresh and to meet new people. he cringed. let's just say that the students at their former highschool weren't so great to him. the nerd didn't notice when his mother pulled to a stop. the closing thud of the door from rose made him jump to reality. he waited patiently for his turn to say goodbye before he gave his mother a nervous smile. oliver planted a kiss on her cheek, and pulled back. "you'll be fine, don't worry," his mother reassured. he murmured a 'thank you' before slipping out the car.

xxx'rose looked out the window from the passenger seat of her mother's car. a lingering spot of triumph clouded her chest for she had rightfully won aiden for the seat. as they all scrambled to the car, brook and rose wrestled, only for a moment, before she shoved him to the side and dashed inside.
xxx'rose ran a hand through her hair, her eyes narrowing and flashing with devastation and excitement; devastation for returning and leaving home, and excitement to see and meet new people. her hazel eyes sparked as her mother pulled up on the curbs of the school. a sigh escaped her lips. rose turned to her mother as she fully came to a halt with the car, and she bent over to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "bye mom, i love you," she murmured with a smile, and opened the door. she stepped out, flung her heavily stuffed black backpack over her shoulder, and closed the door with a quick flick of the wrist. she didn't bother waiting for her brothers' as they bid their last goodbyes to our mother, so she padded down the side walk, quickly going over of fixing her outfit. her mind buzzed, and her stomach turned. she heard her brothers' footsteps behind her fade and softened as they cut through a patch of grass from the corner of her eye. a huff escaped her mouth, but her lips quickly curved into a smile. she began to make her way to the dorms; during the way here, she took the moment to already memorize her dorm number and a few of her periods. i'm just cool like that! she thought.

Aurora, Thyme and Valentina sat in the same car, while the boys where in the other. The girls sat in the back of Aurora's and Valentina's mum's and dad's car. All of them had been chatting excitedly on the long journey but as they began to near the girls had become more and more silent. It had dawned on them that they would be going to a new school far away. They wouldn't know anyone. Meanwhile in the boys car, the boys were on their phones, they moaned slightly about leaving their friends but soon got over it. Both cars began to draw up to the school. The school towered above them, it felt a bit like a nightmare at first. But it couldn't be that bad.

Aurora sighed, she'd been fumbling with her glasses all the journey. Thyme and Valentina had tried to calm her down but she was never good with change. She looked out the window to see the school looming above. She held her breath waiting to get out of the car, once it stopped, into the unknown. She had been squashed in the middle of the silver sports car, since she was the smallest, she hadn't complained but felt like she wanted to. She steps out after Thyme. She picks up her bags and gives her mum, dad, auntie and uncle a farewell. She waved the off with the others, before turning around to look at the school. She heard Ash, Aaron and Conor offer to take the bags of the girls, but like Thyme and Valentina she declined. They all walk up to the front of school and await to be told, where their dorm was.

He looked up from his phone to see the school. The school was massive and completely unknown to him. He put his phone in his pocket and got out the car after Aaron. Like Aurora, since he was the youngest, had been squashed in the grey sports car middle seat. He was relieved to get out into the open air. He looked around excitedly before getting his bags out of the boot. Like the rest he waves a farewell to his family. He notices the girls with their bags and offers to take them. All the girls decline so he just nodded his head. He walks up with the rest to find out his dorm room.

She'd been extremely bubbly in the car, even trying to help calm the rest down but as soon as they drove up to the school she fell silent. She got out first and smiles uneasily as she waves goodbye to her parents and auntie and uncle. She'd liked her old school but this school seemed so different. She wished she could get out of there but there was no way. She picked up her bags after Aurora and waved farewell, nervously. She was never like this and she couldn't tell what had got into her. She decides to put on a brave face and to smile radiantly. She hears the boys offer to take her bags. She went to say no thank you but couldn't muster to even say that so she decides to just shake her head. She follows the rest up to see where she was supposed to go.

He starts to text on his phone just as they pull up to the school. He doesn't notices and is halted dragged out by Aaron. He finally realises and quickly jumps out, slightly embarrassed. he looks up at the school and sighs slightly. He moves to the back of the grey sports car to pick up his bags. He then walks over to the girls and offers to take their bags, the girls say no. He notices Ash and Aaron ask the same question, he smiles slightly. He then says goodbye to his parents and uncle and auntie. Waving, he turns around to face the school. He picks up his bags again and walks off after Aaron, wondering which dorm he's in.

As they draw nearer to the school she starts to hum nervously. She sighs and takes a deep breath to calm herself down. She smiles nervously as she gets out the car. Her legs shake slightly but she regains her composure. She notices Aurora not wearing her glasses for some reason. She then realises that she'd left them in the car. She grabs her little sisters glasses quickly before putting them in Aurora's pocket. She then takes her bags and says a farewell. She notices the boys asking if they wanted them to carry their bags but she declines. She walks slowly after the others. She could tell they were all a little nervous.

He was texting his friend for the whole journey. As they drive up to the school he puts his phone away. He gets out the car first and walks to the back and collects his bags. Noticing, that Conor wasn't out he walks over and drags his cousin half out. He smirks slightly at his cousins sheepish grin. he then pats him on the back and says farewell to his parents and uncle and auntie. He then offers to take the girls bags. As they decline he walks up to the front of school, taking the lead.

xxxxxblake jones looked down at his feet. his hands and fingers twitched. the car ride was silent, he had done well to hold back a series of screeches. having tourettes didn't seem like a big deal to most people, but to blake it was hard. he found it hard to make friends and socialise. he looked up to see if his uncle would say anything to him as they neared the school, maybe blake hoped for words of encouragement or words of sheer lecture. but no, blake was hoping for an acknowledgement. he saw his uncle stare back at him, neither spoke however blake couldn't hold back his vocal tics any longer, he didnt want to see the look of disapproval that his uncle was going to give so he looked down, blake jerked, snorted, yelled gibberish and shook. it only lasted a minute or so. blake would have enjoyed the trip more if his mother had taken him however not to his surprise she was too intoxicated to drive, blakes mother was delighted for max to attend woodlock. for once she was proud of him. taken back by his thoughts he soon snapped out of them as his uncle stopped the car. "th-th-tha." he was cut off by his uncle "don't let anyone see what you have, boy" he said in a deep raspy voice. blake nodded understandingly. he then got out of the car, picked up his bags and stumbled to the school gates. he then paused to have a cigarette because thats what he craved and he wanted to 'look cool and fit in' despite the tourettes.

The two of them would be taking a cab to the new school because their father was in no conditions to drive them all the way across the state to this academy. Work was consuming the few moments he had with his children to the point that both of them had to leave because it was way too hard to have them around safely. Thomas didn't really mind, but he was worried about his twin sister, Bree. She was certainly not going to be okay with this separation, even though their father promised to call them at least once every two days. He hugged his father tightly. I'll miss you. were the words that came out of his mouth, while his father said I love you, take care of your sister.. Thomas waved quickly before entering the taxi, and waiting for Bree, who seemed to be speaking something with their dad. When she was inside, the twins followed the house with their eyes until it was too far away to spot. Thomas leaned back in his seat and with his headphones on it took no time for him to fall asleep. When he woke up, it was because Bree was shaking him awake as the cab was pulling over near the gates of Woodlock Academy. Pausing the music, the brown haired teenager walked outside and towards his luggage, which was being taken out by the cab driver. He thanked him and paid, before turning towards the gate. Without waiting for Bree and for a second forgetting the promise he made to his father, Thomas entered the huge place, full of excitement.

The drive towards the new school the two were going to attend was silent. In a few occassions the cab driver tried to speak to Bree but soon gave up as the girl made it clear that she was not in the mood for talking. So it was an awkward silence in which she was glued to her phone screen, scrolling down her instagram feed and textposts, from which two or three made her break into a half smile and exhale through her nose because she found it somehow funny. Bree wished Thomas would be awake. That way she could have someone to talk about her emotions with and the pressure and anxiety she was feeling at the moment. Bree replayed the conversation with her father earlier that same day, before she almost broke into tears because she would miss him so much. The landscape didn't make it better, as everything reminded Bree about her father and the life she was leaving behind. Brianna walked out of the car, more nervous than when she had to speak to the entire school and had a panick attack and everybody was staring and it was basically the worse experience ever. But here, she reflected, nobody knows me. I can be whoever I want. She glanced around to speak to Thomas and hoped that they could enter the huge gates, but the only people she saw were some people socializing and being dropped off, and laughing, and stuff she wasn't used to do. Bree felt like crying. Thomas had left her behind, because he was some small kid in a toy store. She took a deep breath, grabbed her suitcase, and started walking.
