Constance ran a hand through her hair, bouncing up and down in her seat of her mom's Jeep Wrangler. She never really wanted to go to this stupid camp, but her parents were forcing it upon her. She looked around, still bouncing anxiously. The blonde looked out the window, feeling a weight on her legs, she stopped her bouncing. She looked down and saw her white German Shepherd puppy, Apollo, laying stretched out over her legs. She smiled softly and whispered to him quietly, "Its not going to be much longer till we get there, 'kay Pollo?" The extremely long drive, 6 hours in a single car, had tired out the two animals. Apollo and Atlas, her dog and kitten, both laid stretched out on the back seat of the soft top Jeep. Connie sighed and scratched behind Apollo's ear gently before returning her hand to her chin and looking out the window. Green foliage was all they saw, hardly any cars passing by, but multiple behind them.
...
When Connie and her parents arrived at the camp grounds, she quickly unbuckled her seat belt, slid Apollo's head off her lap and wretched open the door beside her, flinging herself out of the car and inhaling deeply. "Freedom!~" She yelled happily, stretching her arms up to the sky and yawning. She brought her hands down to her sides and rolled her head to one side, then to the other. Her parents started to get out of the car, but the two animals in the back totally ignore all of the commotion around them. Constance smiled and walked over to the back seat, it's door still wide open. She sighed and rubbed Apollo's side. "Pollie. We're here. C'mon get up." She says and picked up the growing puppy. He yawned and whimpered, back legs flailing around her a foot hold. Constance smiled and set him down on the grass. Apollo trotted over to a line of trees and disappeared behind one. "Don't go to far..." Constance whispered to herself and sighed. She turned back to the little kitten balled up on her sweat shirt and picked him up. "Atlas. You get to ride in the bag. Okay? I don't think you'll be to happy to walk." She says and giggled, setting the mewling kitten down on the empty seat and reaching for her sweatshirt, balling it up, and stuffing it in her empty backpack like a bed for the kitten. She lifted Atlas up and placed him gently into the bag. He mewed and walked around a little before burrowing down into the cloth. Con smiled and turned around, gently zipping up the bag and sliding it onto her shoulders. Apollo barked and came running out of the trees happily, bolting towards his owner. "Let's go!" Connie said and raised a fist to the air. She pulled her suitcase out of the Jeep and hugged her mom, ignoring her dad. She slid her phone into her back pocket and turned and walked away with her suitcase, towards the large group of campers. Apollo followed beside the girl, growling weakly when someone came near her. "Overprotective much, Apollo?" Constance asked the dog, amused.

Riley groaned when his mother came in for the seventh time that morning, telling him to get up and get ready, because he'd be driving himself to the camp he was force to attend. Riley sat up in his bed and slid out from under his covers, running a hand through his hair and pulling out a random batch of clothes he didn't pack for the summer and throwing them on his bed. Rile walked away from his bed and into his bathroom, turning on the shower, stripping from his pajama pants and stepping under the water for a quick clean before he left. He washed his hair extremely well then his body, turned the water off, then stepped out and grabbing the towel that sat on the counter of his sink. He dried off quickly and then walked out, pulling on his clothes and gathering his unpacked necessities. He walked out of his room, turning off his light and sighing. He walked downstairs, and Eiffel barked happily, shooting up from her perch on the back of the couch and jumping down to the hard wood floors. Riley smiled and bent down to scratch behind her ears. "C'mon girl, we gotta leave. Old folks don't want us here for the summer." He says and stood up, grabbing the suitcase and duffle bag at the end of the stairs and walking out the door. He called a quick goodbye to his family and shut the front door. Riley walked down the driveway to his truck and waved to his father. Riley's dad sat in the front seat of the truck, leaning towards the dashboard while reprogramming the GPS for the seventh time in those three days. The boys dad nodded and sat back, sliding out of the vehicle and patting his son on the arm before walking in the house. Riley opened up the back door and threw his stuff in, slamming it and walking up to the driver side door. He opened it up and Eiffel shot past him, bounding up into the seat and crossing over to the passenger's side. Riley smiled and shook his head, pulling himself into the driver's seat and pulling out of the driveway.
...
After the long three hour drive, Riley parked his truck in a free parking space and placed a hand on Eiffel's head, scratching behind her ears roughly before unbuckling and opening the door. He slide out of the truck and kept the door open for Eiffel to cross over and hop out. Once his dog was out, Riley closed the driver side door and opened up the back door. He shook his head and pulled out his bags then closed the door and walked away from his truck. He lifted a hand and pressed the lock button on his keys twice, the trucks lights flashing. He smiled slightly and stuffed his keys in one of his back pockets then walked towards a large group of people. He pulled a folded piece of paper out of his front pocket and looked down at it once he got it opened. Eiffel stood idly by him, not leaving his side as they made their way through the groups of people socializing and headed to Cabin 2.
