Andrew sighed as he sat on the bus, waiting to arrive at the summer camp. He took a deep breath, looking out the window and seeing the camp in the distance. Andrew prayed and prayed that he wouldn't have to share a cabin with anybody, he was always nervous to sleep around other people. If he did end up sleeping in a cabin with others he'd probably end up wearing his favorite jumper to bed to make him feel more comfortable. He sighed again and tugged at the sleeves of his black hoodie, slightly nervous and scared.

she did not want to go to this camp. period. exclamation point. her parents were forcing her to, however. the only time that she ever really left the house was to go to the skate rink or walk her dog; her doberman named arrow. they were tired of her depression, which had been going on for about five months, ever since she caught her ex-boyfriend of over three and a half years cheating on her. they thought this camp would be good for her. for every summer since she had been born, her parents had taken her to their home, and her birthplace; bath england. thus why she had her thick accent. but this summer was the first that she would not be going and she was beyond upset about it. sighing as she buckled in, she stroked her dog's head, who was sitting in the seat beside her, as her parents drove. this would be a long summer.

i let out a sigh as my older brother, caleb, pulled up to the summer camp. my six-year old nephew, jake, was playing with my german shepherd. my brother's wife insisted, more like forced, that i go to summer camp. she was worried about my lack of friends. she was nice and overall cared about me, but i didn't need it. as for my brother, that bastard took all the good genetics in my family. we had a good relationship, we just didn't talk to each other that much. "yes i did," grandma said, her eyes focused determinedly on the road. nik grinned, "at least go a little faster." nik was sure the people driving behind them were about to die of frustration. "nik, honey, sit up straight. it's good posture," grandma ordered, glancing at him through her big glasses. he sighed. his grandma's small car made him a bit claustrophobic, him being tall and all. he obeyed her and sat up straight. his grandma was about 5'0, and he was 6'2. the car fit her perfectly. him, not so much. finally, they pulled up to the camp. nik got out of the car, along with his grandma. walking to the back of the car, he opened the trunk and got his luggage. he shut the trunk and set his suitcase down. "promise me you'll be safe?" his grandma asked with a crooked smile. he nodded and gave her a hug, which was awkward since he had to bend down a little. he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "drive safely," he said. he'd hate to lose his grandma, she was like the only family he had. he walked up to the camp, then turned around to see his grandma driving away. he continued up to the camp.

"Bye mom." I say, then sigh, remembering, I don't live with her. I would kill to hear her loving voice again. Now I was more mature than when I was fifteen. I knew what everything was for. I ran back to my room and grabbed my suitcase and phone, plugging in an ear bud. I had about a five hour drive to get to the camp, which, even though I don't live with them, my parents forced me to go to. I hopped in my jeep and left.
