Nina, Nina, Nina, oh Nina. In Italian, Nina means 'little girl' and Nina definitely lives up to that meaning in some ways. Nina is shy, like a 4 year old to a teenager, she's quiet at first and that's because she always thinks she's bothering people, she would never pick up on a conversation unless you talk for the most of it, but when you get Nina out of her shell, she's very enthusiastic and exciting. She is artistic, her favorite thing to do is draw. Her art work is very soft, landscape, animals, hearts almost every bare spot, but sometimes her work is abstractey and loud. Nina grew up in a dysfunctional family. Her father would be out most of the time with his friends and her mother would deathly worry about him. Nina didn't know why her mom would worry about him, "Daddy's fine" she'd say with a grin. Her mother knew what was going on though, but she didn't want Nina to not have a father figure, no matter how crappy the guy was, so she kept him and let him do what he wanted. And what he wanted was to cheat, drink and come back home to abuse his family. Nina witnessed her mom get beaten by her father almost daily, but Nina stayed positive and when he stopped and went away, she'd come running to her mother and kiss her 'boo boo's' away. Suddenly Nina's mother was gone and her father too, just 7 years old and didn't know where her parents were. She waited for them to come home, but they never showed. After two days, they still weren't there and the police came to pick her up to just throw her in an orphanage. She still doesn't know what happened to her parents, but fortunately she had new parents in a couple of being there. She loved her new parents, she had brothers and sisters, too! but her new parents always made them clean and clean, no fun and no vacations, not even TV. Nina would show up to school in rags sometimes and kids would pick on every little thing about her. But, again she'd always stay positive, but she wasn't happy at all. At age 14 she ran away and stayed wit an old lady she knew since forever on her block, the lady was the sweetest person Nina would ever meet and she loved the old lady. On her 17th birthday she decided to move out to an apartment and she's never been happier.

Ah, Hunter. He is the guy, he works out a lot and he participates in many sports. His manly, rough hands love to build and create though his imagination is quite dull. Even if Hunter may seem as aloof, he's really compassionate and caring. He'll stand up for anyone, he's a great friend and will fight anyone who hurts the one he loves.

Hunter had a hard past, all his parents died when he was very young, no one was really there for him, he spent most birthdays on the stoop of his rickety porch and his dog, Bandit. Hunter grew up in a old, house in a bad environment with his uncle that was hurt in the army. With that, Hunter had to grow up quickly, he had to work to get food on his and his uncles table at age 15, sometimes he'd steal chips and sandwiches from the Deli across the street, he'd get caught most of the times and he'd end up in juvie for some a while. Hunter would always do things by himself and never complained or asked for any help. He'd walk himself to school by himself, do hard work by himself, take care of his health by himself. Yet, these things would be difficult, he always managed to pull through, all by himself.
