I clamber out of my mother's minivan clumsily, yelping as I drop my glasses in the process. I struggle to pick them up with my hands full of bags packed heavy with books but somehow manage. I then say goodbye to my mother with a kiss, and walk towards my new school. There's so many people around- a lot cooler looking than I am... but I'm not worried about that stuff I'm here to learn. I straighten my glasses and walk at a brisker pace towards my new, beautiful school.

I walk up the beautiful marble steps and walk into the huge doorway. I gape in awe- and almost hump into someone like an idiot. I concentrate on trying to find the girls dormitory. I turn to a blonde haired boy who looked like he knew what he was doing (alexander). I smile at him and quickly ask "hey, can you tell me where the girl's dorms are?"

Lily scrambled out of her car, grabbing a couple of important things she wouldn't want alone in the car. She could grab the rest of her stuff when she found her dorm and could drive closer to them. She began to walk towards the beautiful school, noticing a cute boy who seems to be struggling with his bags. Lily ran over towards him and grabbed a book he was about to drop. "Need a hand? We can look for our dorms together! Don't think boys and girls would be that far apart would ya?"

I jump, startled as a voice suddenly comes from behind me. I yelp as I drop my books, then quickly go to pick them up, simultaneously looking up at the voice. It's a girl... a girl?! Wait, girls don't talk to me! In my surprise, I stutter as a habbit. "Oh, t-thank you. My mother sure does like to make sure I'm well prepared." I say as steadily as I can and flash a small, shy smile.

Lily nodded her understandingly, her mother could another her sometimes too. "Well you definitely are prepared with all that stuff. I can get my things from my car later, so why don't you let me get a couple of those bags for you?" She smiled at the boy a bit questioningly. Lily was trying to figure out the boy's age. He seemed a bit young for college, probably graduated college early. Not that it really mattered. "I'm Lily Hunter, 19, it's nice to meet you."

I smile a bit more, finding this girl's courtesy pleasing. "I suppose I am. Thank you, again. I do appreciate your kind gesture, and rest assured that I'll help you with your bags, too."I hand her a few bags, but not too many out of respect. "Good to meet you, Lily. It happens to be that the Lily us my favorite flower, not only for it's beauty but also of the diverse color it comes in. My name is Xander, and I am 17 years of age. I know I'm a bit you for college... not to brag, but I did happen to skip a grade or two." I flash another smile as we start walking towards the dormitories.

Lily took the nags and listened to Xander. Quite the formal speaker which Lily was not. It seemed as if God felt like putting all of her intelligence to book smarts and not much else, not that she minded. She tried to remember all that he said so she could answer properly"Glad you like my name then. I've always liked it too personally. And I'm going to assume you got a scholarship here for grades then?" Lily stepped inside, motioning for Xander to follow, and went to the front desk. "Girl and boys dorms?...ok. To the right Xander!"

I frown just for a fraction of a second, too fast to notice. She seemed to talk more formally, attempting to match my tone. I admit, I did like her informal, freindly tone better. "Yes, I have earned a full scholarship through science, only after declining countless other offers. But enough about me... tell me about yourself." I say as we walk through the halls.

Lily lifted the bags over her shoulder, missing the tiny frown. She tried to think about something about herself she could tell to Xander. "Not much to me. Made good enough grades to get a full ride scholarship for my courses. Clarinet scholarship payed for the rest like those crazy expensive textbooks. Not considering grades I'm the typical nerd. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Sherlock." Lily twirled happily as they walked through the halls. This place was awesome.
