I could see the blush instantly on her cheeks and I was blushing a little too, afraid that I looked ridiculous. "You're welcome," I answer with a small grin and walk with her into the resturaunt, holding open the door for her. We wait to be seated, blushing when the waitress says, "You're such a cute couple." When we sit down, the waitress asks what we want to drink and then leaves us to fend for ourselves and make conversation. "So, uh.. What do you like to do?" I ask curiously.

We sat down at our table and I couldn't help smile from ear to ear at the waitress' remark. Why Me? I told her what drink I wanted and she finally left. I swear after this, i'm never leaving my house again. He asked me what things I like to do, and I swore I saw his cheeks very pink. Is he blushing? "Uhmm, I really love to draw, surf, and to be honest, be really lazy sometimes." I say with a smile. "What about you?" I ask him, looking probably a little too intently into his eyes.

I laugh when she says be really lazy. "Well I agree with you on the laziness. I can't surf at all though, I tried when I was like 15 and I couldn't do it. I think I have crap balance. But I'm on the swim team at school, so I love swimming. I play video games sometimes, but I don't think I'm that great at them." I say, and look everywhere but at her eyes. I had such a hard time keeping eye contact, and her being so pretty and intimidating didn't help.

"You know, surfing isn't that hard, I could teach you sometime. If you wanted." I somehow manage to say pretty confidently. Just then, the waitress comes back with our drinks.. drink? "Since you both ordered the same drink, I thought it would be just precious if I came out with one and two straws. Don't worry, you can get a free refill for the other drink." I stared at her, not knowing what to do or say. "Oh no, ma'am, we're not-" "Oh nonsense, just enjoy your drink." She interrupted. She left in a hurry to go do something else. I turned to look at Matthew and kind of just chuckled. "Well.."

Why was my life so hard? I blush at the thought of both of us drinking at the same time, our faces si close together. "Uh.. You can have it, if you want. I don't want to.. ya know." I was blushing uncontrollably now and I didn't know what to say. I rub the back of my head nervously and offer a nervous grin.

"What? No.. We can... Like, do this." I say looking at him with a small grin. "I'm sure it's not that hard to drink from the same cup, I mean, we're Juniors, we can handle ourselves.. Right?"

Right, we're juniors. Not two year olds. I chuckle. I lean forward and take a drink of the pop and try not to over think about how close our faces were at that moment. "You have, incredible eyes." I say as I pull away, a faint blush still present on my cheeks.

Being this close, I now realize why all the girls freak out about him. Dang it. I stop drinking and sit up. I stop dead in my tracks at his comment. You could probably see my bright red cheeks a mile away. "Thank you.." I manage to get out without choking. I put my hands in my lap and fold them together, they were very sweaty. What am I doing?

Callie seems as nervous as I am. I bite my lip, and then realize we never ordered our food. "Ya know I just realized, it will be kind of hard to eat without having ordered anything." I say with a laugh. I pull the menu in front of me and look at all the burgers, my mouth watering. I was so hungry. When the waitress finally comes to take our order, I decide on a a bacon double cheeseburger with a large fry, and some mozzarella sticks.

After what seems like hours of silence, he finally brings up the fact we never ordered. "Yeah I guess that would be a big problem, going to a restaurant and not ordering anything." I say with a chuckle. I didn't pick up the menu because I already knew what I wanted, having go here so much. The waitress finally comes back, overjoyed to see that our drink was almost all gone, she asked to refill it so I gave it to her. When she came back I ordered. "I'll have 'Jake's Special', yanno, the usual, but hold the onions." I say, handing her the unopened menu.
