I walk in the cabin and hear a creaking noise, then a light pant coming from behind me. Walking dragging my feet so i don't trip as often i feel myself lean toward the side, or rather fall toward the side. Ace quickly comes to my rescue and gets me back onto my two feet helping me to my bed, as soon as he gets me there i sit down taking a load off of not having to see to relax. I hear other girls talking and i quickly turn my smile into a frown, they will probably make fun of me, i think to myself. I push that though out of my mind, i came here to relax, so if I'm going to do that I'm going to have to not care what other people think, hopefully i find a friend to help me, though.

Miles walked into the lodge and looked around for the board that would have their cabin assignments. Eventually he spotted a large cork board in the commons area. There was another boy standing and looking at the sheets of paper with their names on them. Miles couldn't help but wonder if this was one of his new cabin mates. He wasn't even sure how many kids were at this camp. He took his heading aid out of his pocket and put it in before walking over to the cork board.

Miles stood a moment and found his name. Looked like Robbie and Joshua were his room mates. He looked at the blond boy standing next to him.
"You wouldn't happen to be Joshua or Robbie, would you?" he asked.
Miles wasn't sure what to think about this other boy just yet, though he supposed it was a bit early to be making judgments. He seemed kinda jocky. Like a surfer almost. Or maybe a football player. Still, he didn't seem bad. He seemed relaxed enough and not like one of those alpha wolf types. That was always nice. Miles held his hand out towards the boy.
"I'm Miles," he said.

He remembered punching a wall in his house that left a neat fist shaped hole afterwards when his mother told him that he'd be spending the summer at some camp. She knew how much he diliked things - people being the specifinc things in question. But all of his swearing and protests were in vain as she kicked Griffith out of the car and threw his luggage at him in a huff. When he watched her peel off, he stared after the horrible van with his jaw clenched. There goes my freedom.... Slowly, Owen turned around and felt his stomach start to churn with nerves and unease.

In what universe was it okay to shove him off to some camp with a bunch of people that were most likely insanely happy all the time. He was fine. He didn't need people and he couldn't for the life of him understand why his mother insisted that he did. With a throaty growl he pulled his luggage along the path to where the main hall would supposedly be. It was just as advertised and just as sickeningly delightful as he imagined. As soon as he stepped through the doors he felt his shoulders seep down in defeat and maybe annoyance. It was only then that he remembered the cabin assignments. "Yayy," he muttered all to quietly and took his first couple steps forward.

He was wearing his default outfit and grey beanie, black hoodie, and dark jeans. A fluff of his hair could be seen from under the beanie and with a face that resonated sweet and simple 'hate vibes', he tried to go up to the table where a few other people stood. However, his legs refused to move in that particular direction. In fact, it seemed that they were just refusing to move at all. Un-freaking-believable, he thought in frustration, Thank you mom. I will cherish this experience always...

Kendal had leaned her head against the window,watching the beautiful scenery on the way.At some point she had just fell asleep and hours on the road rolled by.After waking up,the beautiful sight of the ocean and fields was gone and replaced by deep and rather dark forest.She blinked a few times and glanced at her mother only to see her smile.That woman was incredibly happy,wasn't she? Getting rid of her daughter for a few weeks,not that she've spend much time with Kendal....
Soon enough the car stopped in front an entrance of some camp.Kendal adjusted her backpack over her shoulder as she stepped out of the vehicle and waved to her mother.She grabbed her suitcase from the back of the car and walked towards the lodge,while hearing her mother driving away.Kendal entered the large place and looked around curiously for a few moments,it was beautifully made ,that's for sure. She followed the crowd to some board,where the cabin assignments were placed.So Paris and Shay,amazing! What's next,dance night?Hopefully not. She sighed and backed off from the thing to check the time on her mobile phone. What she was supposed to do now anyway?

tessa stared at the car window, she have been in a camp before but that was years ago. her mother nudged her and told her 'Don't be nervous honey...' she said stroking her black hair. 'Everything's going to be fine......' she added with a smile on her mouth. tessa looked at her mom and asked 'Why do I have to go here? Why can't I go to my cousins or to my friends?' her mother sighed then answered 'tessa....you always go there. time for you to do something new!' tessa sighed then got out of the car dragging her luggage with her. she stared around her surroundings and sighed. she went inside and looked at the board to see who are her roomates..... jennifer nunez and danielle thompson. tessa thought that maybe this can be worth it joining....

I stay sitting on my bed, and feel something furry brush up against me. Ace, i thought to myself. He sits in front of me, waiting for me to pet him. I reach my hand out feeling his soft fur, petting him. I hear his tail thump on the creaky wood boards, i smile knowing he is happy. I stop petting him, and bring my hand back. I hear Ace get up and sit next to me, guarding me, like he was trained to.

Josh didn't even spare his father one last look before slamming the car door shut. When his dad had told him that he'd signed up for a summer camp, Josh thought he was joking. He didn't even know those things existed - he thought they were just for American movies, but apparently not. Josh adjusted the bag on his shoulder and sighed dramatically. As he looked around, he had to admit the place was beautiful. Nature was thriving and the air felt fresh unlike his home town and the town he was currently living it. This place reminded him of when he would play in the woods with his old friends when he was younger and climb the steep hills on the search for an adventure. Josh smiled sadly. He really missed England.

He leaned forward on his tiptoes, reluctantly looking for somewhere to go. There seemed to be a few people around a board hung on the wall. Shrugging, Josh decided to go over there too. As he walked he began to look around again - he was the type of person that felt complete when around nature; he felt safer stood by a big tree than on the pavements honestly. His absent mind wandered and it was too late - he'd already managed to walk right into someone. He looked back to where he was and saw the girl he had just collided with. Guilt immediately filled his stomached.
"Ah, sh - No! don't swear," he scolded himself outloud, his voice getting louder and quieter at random times of the sentence. Suddenly remembering his manners, and the fact he was infront of a stranger who undoubtedly would now believe he's crazy, he spoke up again. "Didn't mean to say all that outloud, uhm...I'm sorry for walking into you," He tries, a nervous smile lighting up his features.

Tate had taken a step back from the papers, just so everyone else could get a better look.
His attention was then taken towards a male who seemed rather un-amused by the whole camp deal. "Hmm, Robbie and Joshua.." Tate repeated, he had come to this camp for two years now, but those names weren't ringing any belles.
"I'm sorry man, but I don't" Tate said, but then instantly shook Miles hand back as soon as the not so stranger introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you Miles, I'm Tate" he said with a friendly smile. Tate made sure to give Miles a firm handshake, then carried along the conversation.
"So what brings you here to camp driftwood?" he asked curiously, one to always be a bit personable.

Shay began to roll her suit case and head to the main lodge, that's where everyone seemed to head to first. With a shrug she brushed her long bangs out of her face, and looked hard at the ground.
She then heard the bang of a trucks door, and jumped at its suddeness. Shay looked over her shoulder to see a boy with curly hair and a girl with long and straight hair. The two looked like they were playing around. She then began to wonder what their relations were, siblings? Maybe cousins.. Wonder if they are together, like boyfriend and girlfriend.. she pondered in her mind, not realizing that she was staring a bit too long at the two.

Jennifer looked over at the people who were now crowding the main lodge , she decided to join someone. She didn't like sitting alone very appealing, although she did get to observe many people. Seeing Tessa from a view she walked over and greeted , "Hey i'm Jennifer.. you must be ?" she asked. She thought maybe starting off by meeting some of the girls might be a smart way to start off her stay here. Usually when she started to talk to guys she was thought of wrong, Jennifer looked around at the other people talking at the lodge, she decided to go around and meet everyone knowing there was probably no harm to just meet everyone.

Griffith ran a hand through his hair and under his beanie in a way that was supposed to prepare him to go over to the tables for a cabin. Why this was supposed to work was a mystery to him but he didn't dwell on it too much. THe boy sighed and started towards the two people talking, listing in on their conversation unintentionally. He picked up their names as he squeezed around them with a grunt and picked up the cabin assignments.

His brown gaze scanned the lines until he found his name sorted in with his. "Tate and Matt..." he muttered to himself and found his eyes fall on the boy standing behind him. Owen felt his lip twitch as he studied his supposed room mate. It was too early to tell if this dude was even remotely tolerable but he cleared his throat to say something though no words came out. He tried again, this time angrier, "So you're Tate? What's your deal?"
