Apache Sunrise slept lightly. A few times the rustling leaves woke her.

Madisyn stood up from the log she was sitting on and brushed off her shorts. "I'm going to go find Apache and the stallion," Madisyn announced hleefully as she turned and set off for the forest. She wasn't sure where to look, but she remembered the hoof tracks that the two horses had left, and decided to follow those. The tracks soon led Madisyn to the beach, once again, where she saw the stallion, his beautiful golden coat glistening with water droplets, and Apache, looking happy with him.

"Hey girl," Madisyn said as she approached. She felt bad about intruding, but it was truly beautiful to see the two horses connecting. "And hello, Pale Sun." Madisyn had decided when she was back at camp to call the stallion Pale Sun, a name she had chosen because of his amazing golden coat that had reminded her of the sun.

[*Hollystar*]

Apache lifted her head and nickered a greeting to Madisyn. She stood up and shook her head, ridding her ears of water.

[PSK]

Madisyn giggled slightly and smiled, "I apologize, I didn't mean to intrude on your fun, I just wanted to come see how you two were doing. I see that you're doing just fine, and that's great," Madisyn smiled. "You really are beautiful Pale Sun. You're beautiful too, Apache. In fact, you two are the most beautiful horses I think I've ever seen," Madisyn said as she sat down on the warm sand. She really enjoyed the horses' company, and loved the fact that she could talk to them, and they listened. The natural beauty of the two strong beings was breathtaking, and that was all Madisn really needed.

The stallion raised his head, but didn't move, his limbs too tired. He just lay his head back down, ignoring Madisyn.

[PSK]

Madisyn still didn't expect much interaction from Pale Sun. She never expected any at all, actually, being that he was a free stallion, and wild at heart, but being in its presence was fascinating and exciting enough. "Alright," Madisyn said standing up, dropping the stick that she had been fumbling with in the sand, "I'll go now. Apache, you can come back to my shelter whenever, just enjoy yourself for now," she smiled affectionately at Apache and Pale Sun before walking back to camp, leaving the two with each other.
