Here it comes, the part where people get so freaked out by your lack of emotions that they make up some excuse to leave. I sigh internally and shake my head, "no, not really. I haven't found anything yet that has made me laugh, sometimes I will just do it so people aren't creeped out that I don't have a sense of humor, but I can't recall anything that's truly been funny to me."

Mason nodded, "Huh... Interesting." He murmured, "When you were younger did you find things funny? Not to pry, it's just really interesting to me." He smiled slightly, "I've never met someone like you, I don't mean in a bad way either."

"No, I was a rather serious child I guess you could say," I explain to him. I smile ever so slightly, probably the first time I've smiled in a while, when he says he's never met anyone like me. "You're probably the first person not to make up some excuse to get out of talking to me. A lot of people find my lack of emotions a little unnerving."

Mason chuckled, "Hey, I'm not like that. I'm not gonna just leave someone based on what you've shown to me. People are kind of terrifyingly good at emotion." He shrugged again and sighed, "When a little crazy psychologist there, sorry."

"I'm glad that you're different," I tell him and hear him apologize. "You're fine." I think for a moment, trying to change the topic. Finally I say to him, "so you mentioned you played sports? What kind of sports do you like to play?" I didn't really like sports at all, but it was the first thing I could come up with off the top of my head.

Mason blinked, "Well, first off football. Lots of football. Rugby, Lacrosse, track, and swimming." He smiled as looked at her, "It was a good outlet for me, the perfect outlet, actually. The football thing really was to save my own butt. Everything else was really for myself."

I listen to him speak about football, assuming by the way he was speaking of football as an outlet, Mason was not this sweet, nice guy all the time. Once he's finished, I smile and say, "you have a really nice smile." What the heck, Autumn?! "Um...I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from. That was such a rudimentary and shallow comment to make, I try to be careful with what I say but I suppose something unintelligent slips out of my mouth occasionally." The truth was, that never happened, I was always so careful and precise with what I said, making sure every statement I said had meaning and thought behind it.

I close my macbook and take off my headphones as my mother tells me to 'get some fresh air'. I groan and get up off my bed... she knows I go outside for at least 3 hours every day! I love the outdoors, especially the forest, and I just wanted a break today. "I guess I can longboard for a bit." I mumble, half to the woman and half to myself. I grab my Ipod earbuds, and longboard, then wave goodbye to my mother with my signature, genuine smile and head out the door. i skillfully hop on my board with barely a thought and connect my earbuds with a click! into the port. (open)

bentley glanced over at riley, seeing her 'scared' and 'nervous' reactions to the movies beginnings. he restrained himself from laughing at her. he took a bite of the delicious pizza before mumbling, "if you're gonna get scared, you're welcome to come over here." he patted the cushion that sat literally right beside him out of the three couch cushions. he added in a wink to mess with her. once she began reciting the lines from the movie he began to laugh, "you've seen this one too many times."

Riley could clearly see Bentley from the corner if her eye, watching, waiting for her to be scared as she put up an act if fidgeting around. By then, she expected he knew her much better than that. Riley Greene scared of a horror movie? Psh, no. If anything, she was secretly waiting for him to be scared. Watching both him and the screen, she could see his shoulders rising and falling as he kept himself quiet, trying his best not to let a single laugh slip out. Then came her time to restrain her own laughing when her friend suggested she sit closer. For a moment, she placed a hand over her mouth and casually leaned forward onto the side of the couch to make it seem like she wasn't hiding her huge grin. Once he had noticed the way she whispered each line just as the actor did, she showed a large grin. "No way, this is my favorite, there isn't too many times!" She said, sending the same wink right back at him. "And what was that about being scared? If anything, you're going to be the one sitting closer." She teased.
