Levi unloaded the mare as he walked her into an open stable before thanking his trader before watching the truck and trailer leave. Lancing around he noticed Star was out of sight. He whistled but nothing could be heard. As he walked inside, he strolled upstairs seeing Rayne’s bedroom door was open, he looked in before running back down the hallways, down the stairs and out the door towards the stables. Racing towards the TB stable, he stopped at Fading Sunset opening his stale door and walking his to the tack room, he quickly tacked the stallion before jumping on. Trotting him over towards the last back barn, he opened the door as he unleashed 5 hunting dogs as they took off. Levi held his phone in his hand before clipping it to his side as the dogs tracking collars beeped every few minutes. Kicking the stallion gently on the side, he took off towards the woods they went. Star traveled around the forest before seeing a human. She snorted as she pawed her hoof and reared. The mare lashed her tail from one side to the other before doing circles around Rayne. Reaching her muzzle out, Star snorted once more as she shoved Rayne gently in the shoulder.

Rayne yelped in surprise as Levi came into view. Dang it... She thought to herself. "Hey Levi," she said cheerily. Rayne smiled at him as if nothing was going on. "How's your day been? Mine has been swell, so I will just be on my way now." She began to walk forwards when one of the dogs that currently circled her growled. She stopped in her tracks and looked at the dogs and horses in the area.

Levi rasied an eyebrow as he watches Star snort and circle Rayne " Just peachy " he replies as he dogs sit down by Fading Sunset. Levi jumps down as he walks towards Rayne, he glances at her before placing his hands around her waist as he lifts her up on Star " Head home Star. Don't let her out of your sight " he mutters towards the Mustang mare and she nods before taking off. Levi leaps back into the saddle as he takes off behind her. Star was quite a lot faster than Fading Sunset yet he didn't worry. Star was trained to follow Levi's every given command. As they reach the house Star slows to a stop as she awaits Levi who arrives shortly behind her. As he leaps back off Fading Sunset, he walks towards Rayne as he lifts her off before walking towards the house and opening the door " I've tried being nice. Yet you still run away. One thing about this ranch you should know
.. there's a stallion out there that I let free a while back. He's not afraid to kill someone he doesn't know " Levi says sternly as he watches her walk in before running a hand through his hair as he closes the door. Levi's green eyes glow a bright forest green as he leads Fading Glory to the tack room before walking her back into her stable and closing the door. Locking the barn doors, Levi walks towards the house before stepping in and locking the door behind him. Strolling towards the kitchen, he grabs some children breast from the freezer before walking to the back porch as he turns the grill on.

Sorry they're short. I'm playing a game---

Rayne squeaked as she was lifted onto the horse. She barely grabbed onto the horse's mane when it took off. As soon as the horse stops, Rayne tried to figure out a way off the horse when Levi came to her and lifted her off the horse. Rayne growled in frustration as she stomped inside. "Just leave me alone!" She snapped at him as she walked into her room, slamming the door. Rayne jumped onto the bed and immediately threw off the clothes she had on. She threw on a t-shirt and pajama shorts, letting her hair fall loose. Rayne went back onto her phone and turned her music on full blast while she played a game.

Levi shook his head in frustration before flipping the chicken breast over to make sure they where completely done. Placing them on a long plate-like dish, he walks back inside. As he opens the microwave, he grabs a warm corn in the cob and places it om a plate with a chicken breast and a fork before walking upstairs towards Rayne's room. Knocking on the door softly, he leans his head against it " I'm sorry if I sounded mean earlier. I just don't want to have anymore people hurt " Levi opens the door slolwy before walking in and placing the tray next to her " You never said you had any problems with food so I cooked you something simple " he mutters before hearing Spike bark as he sat outside the room wagging his tail happily.

Rayne rolled over to look at him. "It's fine. I acted irresponsible earlier." She took a deep breath looked down at her hands. "I guess I have been since my teen years. I don't know. I can't really explain why, all I know is its been going on a lot. Maybe if I had acted more responsibly, I wouldn't be here. I would've gone to college, succeeded in life. But instead I am surviving by breaking almost every law know to man. What I am trying to get at is, thank you. For not being quick to judge." She looked at food then back up at him. "Thanks for the food too, but how about we both go to the kitchen and eat together instead?"

Levi nods as he listens to her patiently before he took a deep breath " If I scared you about what I said about that stallion killing you.... I'm sorry. It's just that I truly wasn't kidding. My baby sister Mia died because of that stallion. Every since then I haven't been the same. So honestly I don't judge anyone anymore. I feel like no one ever runs out of chances at starting over again " Levi stand up and smiles as he picks up the tray. He awaits for Rayne patiently " A meal down stairs together sounds wonderful " he says in a friendly tone as he holds the door open.

A small smile curled the corner of Rayne's mouth at his words. "Nope. I wasn't afraid a stallion would find me. I was more afraid of you finding me. Words hurt more than bites, remember that." When he said that they could have a meal downstairs together, Rayne laid her phone down on the bed and exited her room as he held the door open. She headed downstairs to the kitchen and waited patiently there for Levi.

Levi shook his head at what she had said " Trust me. Horse bites at the worst things out there " he chuckles softly before following her towards the kitchen. It was quite large with a long hand made wooden table in the square middle. Made up of 12 seats, you'd think there should be more people here. As he took a seat on the one end, he glances out towards the patio as he watches the pool softly glisten against the moonlight. " You'd would think more people would live here. " he mutters as Spike lies down on the polished wooden flooring. Within a few minutes, Levi finishes his dinner. Standing to his feet, he strolls towards the sink as he cleans his plate before placing it in the dishwasher " Tomorrow I'll be up earlier then usually. I've got to take some horses to a buyer who's about and hour or so away. Your welcome to come. If not you'll be here alone. " Levi looks at Rayne before opening the patio door and walking out. A calm breeze blew in as the double doors curtains wave softly with wind. Levi stood outside as he gazes towards the thick forest of maple trees. He runs a hand through his hair as he strolls away the house as land out towards the edge of the cement. A tall black figure stood on the edge of the forest line, his dark eyes stare Levi down. Levi stood his ground as the stallion rears before trotting back into the woods.

Rayne shook her head in pretend exasperation at his words. Instead of sitting at the other end, Rayne sat down in the cair to his right and took her plate from him. "Thanks," she said as she put the plate down at the seat. She then tried to converse him in some small chat. "So what made you get into this? Taking in people like me for a sort of rehab? Did you and your wofe agree to it or something, or do you live alone?" Rayne knew it was a bit personal, but she was curious. If he didn't want to answer that, she could respect it and hopefully in time, he would tell her.
