Broken Leaves
You wake in the hospital, confused and frightened. Having no idea why you are here and what put you here, you yell for someone; anyone. Then, your parents rush in. They hug you and cry and grab your hand. There is something in their eyes that tells you something is wrong. Something is very wrong. Slowly, you pull away from them, staring at them in horror as your memory starts to come back. You had been competing with your horse, a high level that would qualify you for the Olympics. But you had lost your balance going over a jump. You remember falling and then everything goes black. What about your horse? Where was your horse? What had happened after you had fallen?
Your parents see the questions in your eyes and shake their heads slowly. You think the worst, but then they speak up. They tell you that your horse has become unapproachable. Wild and crazy. But you don't believe them. Your horse could never harm anyone. Not without good reason!
Silver Clouds
As soon as you get out of the hospital, you go straight to the barn where your horse is kept. You know that there must be something wrong with your horse if they are being dangerous. Maybe they are hurt and scared, like you were. Maybe they were traumatised. You have to see them, even though your parents advise against it.
As it turns out, there is something wrong. Maybe it's visible, maybe it's hidden deeper. Something happened to your horse and you have to find out what it is so you can help your horse.
Journey
This roleplay is about a group of young adults who have had accidents in competition. They all end up at the same stable that deals with these sorts of horses. Their horses are much worse off than they are, but some don't know why. For some, it is easy to see what is wrong with their horse; maybe their horse went blind, maybe it injured itself in another way. For others, they can't seem to figure out what is wrong; maybe their horse is traumatized, maybe something happened to their brain in the fall. It's the riders' job to figure out what is wrong with their horse and they must try to help their partner heal. Nothing will ever be completely perfect again. Just like trying to tape broken leaves back together again; it still has cracks and tiny bits missing. But maybe they will be able to make new friends and work together to help their equine partners heal.
