history riley lived a calm, peaceful life where everything went perfectly and days were always sunny. but on a cold, rainy night, a piercing scream could be heard from downstairs. riley's father had killed her mother. the police had taken away the father, and buried the mother. since no other family would take riley in, she was sent to an orphanage. there, she was neglected by the caretakers, given crappy food, and hated life. she always thought that the killing was her fault. one day, she got so fed up with life that she ran away from the orphanage and started self-harm. from that day forth, she actually gained enough money to rent an apartment and lives peacefully. but every once in a while, the image of a bloody knife with her mother's name on it would flash into her mind.
