Sabrina reached down and loosened the latches of her silver sandals she had picked out earlier to match her dress. (pictured in form) Taking them off she stepped out onto the warm sand, picking up her sandals with her right hand. She walked aways down the beach before sitting down, just out of the rolling waves reach. She set her shoes down beside her and laid back, listening to the surf.

Sarah yawned as she woke up by her alarm. She turned it off. She yawned again. She got out of bed and got ready. She didn't take a shower since she had already taken a shower last night. She changed into a heart sweatshirt, and some black jeans and walked out. She decided to go to Starbucks like she always would. She walked to Starbucks, listening to music at the same time. She opened the door and the smell and the warm air of the store hit her. She walked to the counter and saw a smiling girl that was probably her age and she smiled at her. She ordered the usual, and sat at a random table and waited for her name to be called.

Justin yawned as he woke up to his alarm. He turned it off, and got out of bed. He walked to the bathroom, that was in his room, and jumped into the shower. After he was done, he dried himself and wore a black shirt with black jeans. He walked out of his room and into the kitchen. He got some cereal, and sat down on his couch and watched Supernatural.

Luke awoke to the tune of Apple's famous - though, perhaps to some, infamous - ringtone, Marimba. It was his phone, which had been ringing for a few seconds, now. He groaned quietly, burying his face into his pillow. "I need sleep..." he grumbled quietly into his pillow, his voice low and raspy from exhaustion and his words muffled. Inevitably, he'd have to face the fact that he had to get up, at some point. Although, he was trying to put that off for as long as he possibly could, just to get even a few more seconds of rest if he could. After a few seconds, his phone stopped ringing. He sighed a small breath of relief as he rolled onto his back as his lips gently curved up into a faint smile. He slowly started to drift off to sleep, again, snoring softly. That is, until his alarm started going off, again, just a few minutes later. The sound of the Marimba ringtone could be heard playing somewhat loudly throughout the room, as it had been last time. Getting annoyed by hearing the constant little tune, he sighed heavily and reluctantly sat up as a yawn escaped his mouth. He rubbed his eyes as he reached over to his nightstand, then searched around for the phone until he finally felt the cool, smooth rectangular device brush against his fingers. He grabbed it and looked at the screen. He slid his thumb across the slick screen to unlock the phone, which turned the alarm off completely. He murmured some inaudible words, presumably about how he hated mornings and whatnot, under his breath as he ran a hand through his messy, blond hair.
After a moment, Luke finally slid out of bed and headed to his closet. He pulled out this outfit, which consisted of a black tee-shirt, black skinny jeans, a black button-up shirt with silver buttons - though he left this unbuttoned - a longer necklace with a little silver Lego man pendant, and, finally, some black Vans. Then, he headed to the bathroom to get showered and ready for the day. A little while later, he was done, and walked out of the room. He grabbed his phone and a pair of glasses before heading out of the house in search of something to do. Landon had apparently left to go do...well...something, he supposed. Maybe with Karley, he guessed. He didn't really know. Whatever the case may have been, he certainly wasn't at home, at the moment. Luke shrugged the thought off as he started heading to the beach. He started walking along the shoreline, looking around and not paying much attention to where he was going, really. Suddenly, he was pulled back into reality when he felt himself collide with someone. Startled, his bright, cobalt blue eyes darted over to the girl he had bumped into - she had long brown hair and bright blue eyes. He blinked and his cheeks turned faintly red. "I'm so sorry, u-uh...I didn't see you there," he stammered with a small chuckle, a sheepish expression falling over his features, "Are you alright?"

Landon was driving to the hospital, somewhat anxiously tapping his fingers against the steering wheel. Usually, he would be listening to music and drumming his fingers to the beat. But that day - there was no music playing on the radio, or his phone, or his iPod, or anything else. It was complete, dead silence, and the only reason he was really tapping his fingers against the steering wheel was because of a mixture of habit and the fact that his stomach was knotted up into a mass of nerves. Karley had told him to head to the hospital, and he was not exactly sure why. He drew in a deep breath, then slowly let it out. He was trying to keep himself calm and telling himself that maybe everything would be alright. But he couldn't help but worry about what could possibly be wrong - especially because he was heading to a hospital. He was just hoping and praying everything was alright. A sick feeling in the pit of his stomach made itself present as he finally entered the hospital's parking lot. He parked his car - a charcoal 2015 Toyota Highlander - and swung the door open before stepping out and shutting it behind him. He finally locked the vehicle and headed into the hospital. Immediately, he headed over to the main desk and asked what room Karley was staying in. The receptionist - a woman who looked to be in her thirties, with raven black hair, styled in a bob, and bright green eyes - gave him the room number, and he thanked her. He nervously made his way to the room, then stood in front of the door that donned the number he was given. He hesitated, but finally held his breath and held out a shaky hand, now balled into a loose fist, and gently knocked on the door. He let his hand drop to his side as he waited for a response - whether it was someone saying he could come in, or something along those lines.

Karley heard the knock and closed her eyes, willing the lump in her throat to go away "Come in" She said, fighting back the tears that threatened to escape her eyes. She shook her head and crawled out from under the blankets, taking a deep breath and silently going over how she was going to tell him.

As soon as Landon heard Karley speak, he bit his lip and grabbed the doorknob, twisted it, and slowly opened the door. He stepped inside to see her on a hospital bed, hooked up to an IV and looking like she had been crying. He closed the door behind him, then headed over to her, the knot seeming to grow bigger and bigger with every step he took. "Hey...i-is everything alright?" he said quietly, his voice shaking a bit from nerves, when he finally was standing beside her. Please let everything be okay...he silently pleaded in his mind - but seeing the she looked like she was crying had worried him even more. Something was wrong, why else would she have been crying?

Karley sat up and closed her eyes, swallowing hard and taking a deep breath "So, uh, my mum took me to the ER because I had a really bad headache and I had passed out...they did a CT scan and an MRI, I have stage three brain cancer...and the only cure they have is halfway across the world, they don't know if it will get here in time before I..." she trailed off, tears falling from her eyes.

Sabrina nodded quickly, keeping very quiet. "I'm fine." She murmured. Sabrina blew a stray strand of hair out of her face.

Luke smiled a little and nodded as the girl spoke, relieved he hadn't hurt her, at least. He still felt pretty sheepish, however, because of the whole thing. He could have been paying attention to where he was going...but no, apparently he didn't pay enough attention to avoid something like this. He was silent for a moment, not sure what to say - for some reason, just walking away seemed a bit rude to him, though he couldn't say why. Suppose it was just that way because it would seem...abrupt, maybe, he thought. He shrugged the thought off a little. "So, uh...my name's Luke," he said, cracking a hint of a smile. He wasn't sure why he was introducing himself - but he wasn't really sure what else there was to say.

Landon's eyes widened in shock and devastation as Karley explained the situation. "W-what...?" he said, his voice wavering a bit from the lump that had immediately formed in his throat. Although, he had heard her loud and clear. Cancer. She had stage three brain cancer. The only cure was halfway across the world. The very words made his stomach do somersaults as it all sank in. No. No. No. This couldn't be happening. Not to Karley. Was this some sick, twisted nightmare, or was this really happening? It was all too real to just simply be a dream, though, unfortunately. She mentioned something about the cure possibly not being there before- before what? He was terrified of what may happen before it would arrive, and just stared blankly into space, eyes still widened, as so many thoughts raced through his mind at once, that it made him a bit dizzy. As soon as she started crying, however, he was pulled back into reality - somewhat. A frown formed on his lips and he and wrapped his arms around her. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing would come out. Tears started to form in his own eyes. Why did this have to happen to her?

Karley held onto Landon tightly, burying her face in his shoulder before sobbing "It's not fair!" She sobbed, clinging onto it like her life depended on it.
