Karrisa smiled as he draped the jacket over her shoulders. She saw Alex's picnic basket and pulled out a sandwhich and took a bite and smiled after swallowing it. "Thank you." she replied both for the jacket and the food. She took another bite and then leaned in to kiss Alex's cheek. Karrisa grinned as she realized she had her guitar on her. "You wanna hear a song?" she asked as she plopped it out of its case and a began to strum

Ashe walks into the camp and walks over to her assigned dorm room, moving to set her stuff down on her bed so she can go unpack later. I wonder if I'll get to make any friends this summer she wondered.

She held her guitar and began to sing. "♫ You by the light is the greatest find. In a world full of wrong, you're the thing that's right. Finally made it, through the lonely, to the other side. She had only sung the first verse and chorus but believed it conveyed the point perfectly to Alex, if he'd been listening, he would know what she meant to say. Her straight brown hair fell in her face and she looked up at him with a grin, it was either that song or "My Destiny" that she would play but she felt more comfortable with her choice.

"Do you know what I was trying to say Alex?" She asked kindly flinching at his touch for a reason unknown to her. His peck had chilled her and she didn't know why, maybe she was regretting everything, she was happy wasn't she? She'd grown so attached to this boy, what did that mean about her future? She pondered these things as she waited for Alex's response.

Karrissa pulled him in for a long kiss then once she ended out of breath she replied "Yes. I...uh really care about you Alex." But then she turned towards the sky lying on her back, "What's going to happen to us once this summer camp ends though?" She replied with a frown her heart pounding.
