Upon hearing her name called, the blonde turned and gave a polite smile to the woman behind the counter, throwing a grateful 'thanks', in return for her drink. Walking to the condiments section of the cafe, the girl grabbed a straw and swiftly tore off the paper. Dipping the plastic into the froth of her drink, she pulled it out again and eagerly placed the straw in her mouth. Giving a hum of approval, Lyss turned with the intention of leaving. A moment before, she spotted the girl waving, and, figuring they were probably on the same trip, she waved back with a petite smile of her own. 'Remember Lyss, friendliness costs nothing,' she chided herself as she walked towards the gate and took a seat.
Well that's what she intended to do. In reality, the girl busied herself with her bag, to a degree where she lost all sense of direction. Finally looking up as she retrieved her headphones, the bluenette immediately halted to present herself bumping into a couple of boys her own age. Tsking quietly as she looked to her watch, Lyss realised that she had no idea at what time they departed. Hearing one speak to the other in an accent that mirrored her own, her eyes opened excitedly, and she stepped into the conversation-making the pair a trio. "Hi, sorry if I'm intruding, I just figured that you guys may be doing the same trip as me, and was wondering whether you could tell me at what point we depart??"

Choosing to look in the 'New Releases' part of the small store had been a failure. The brunette haired boy had struggled to find the section for at least five minutes, before eventually seeing that it only consisted of one shelf. Groaning, he had begrudgingly picked up the first book his hand came into contact with, lazily turning it over to read the blurb. As he did so, it became increasingly clear that story hadn't been aimed at teenagers. Especially not teenage lads. Placing the red covered mass of paper down, J's eyebrows rose as he murmured, "I certainly wasn't looking for scandal or romance either. Unluckily, fate seemed to send it my was as a practical joke." Continuing his walk through the shop, he spotted the 'Bestsellers' section, significantly bigger in size much to his satisfaction, and looked down to check his watch. "I've got time," He said with a careless shrug.
Plucking a book from one of the shelves, he prayed for a less...stereotypical romance, and more of an adventure. It seemed his prayers were answered when a girl collided with him. Her voice soft, and seemingly scared, J felt pity for her as she looked to the ground. "Hey, no need to apologise. It's not your fault that my left leg dominates the majority of the space in this shoe cupboard. Are you alright??"
