Naomi silently wondered why Mak wanted to know about her but decided to shrug it off. She glanced at him then looked up at the sky. "Around 3 years. I started here when I was fourteen. May took a liking to me so she allowed me to work there, even though I was under aged. After a year and one month Dexter came in. I was assigned to take care of him, that's how we became so close. he lived at my place until he was one then he was officially assigned a cage in the shelter. I was sad but I think Hope was as happy as could be. Still, everyday I went to see him and I was the one who taught him everything." She explained, feeling quite proud of herself. Naomi smiled at Dexter then looked up at Mak.

Mak listened close to her story. He liked hering her talk, something about her voice made him smile, which he did the entire time she was talking. The boy sensed a blush come upon his face as he watched her, he looked away as soon as he could so she wouldn't notice. "That explains why Dexter is such a good dog" He looked ahead a bit and saw a fenced in area with about five dogs inside. He figured it was the dog park.
the boy looked at Naomi again before asking "Who's Hope?" He coudnt help but wonder since she never mentioned the name before.

Naomi noticed that Mak was smiling the whole time she blabbed and wondered why. She shrugged it off though when he complimented her. "Thanks." She said, happy that he said something like that. Naomi stared at Mak in confusion when he asked who Hope was then realized she hadn't told him that Hope was her kitten. "Oh! Hope is my kitten. She's so cute!" She told him.

Mak wasn't a huge fan of cats but could deal with them. "I would love to meet her some time!" He said with a dashing smile. As soon as they entered the dog park all the other dogs ran up to Dexter ans sniffed him, but Dexter barley noticed, all he did was stare up at the two humans before him and awaited the comand that he could go play, that and to be released.

Naomi noticed that Dexter stopped as the dogs sniffed him and chuckled. She bent down and undid the leash from his collar. She stood up and handed the leash to Mak then looked back down at Dexter. "Dexter, you can go play now." She told him, her voice kind and gentle. She turned her back to the dogs and walked over to a bench where she sat down and relaxed while watching Dexter mess around with the others happily.

Mak watched as she did this and smiled as the dog ran off to go play. He just knew this dog would do fine with him. The boy soon followed as Naomi walked to a bench. He sat beside her and wtched the dogs silently.

Her lips parting in a silent yawn, arms spanning out in a satisfying stretch, Hana let out a deep breath, and finally got up. As of right now she had no idea what day or what time it was, she was feeling too tired to think, to use her brain, because unlike most days she had reached new heights on the "late meter". Working from twelve to nine as a waitress at some local diner and then having to switch over to another waitressing gig at another installment, working that job from ten to two. Yawning again, Hana went through the motions of getting ready, before finally leaving her apartment to take a walk.

"I don't need your help" Liz snapped frustrated at the young man. She tried starting again and gave a kick against the tire "okay, maybe I do" she said unwilling and looked into his eyes "I don't think you can lift it though" she said crossing her arms over her chest. A hint of challenge was hidden in her voice as she smirked lightly.
