Cody woke up late, noticing he had texts from Rhett and Lotta-a group chat. Really. He read through the messages quickly before replying; 'sorry. Uh yeah sure I'll be there' he sent, getting dressed in a gray T-shirt and black jeans. He walked downstairs and headed out the door, walking to Rhett's house's. Once he arrived, Cody knocked on the door

  Upon hearing the door, Lotta spun on her heel and bounded back the way she had come to open it. Sure, she was soft spoken and tentative at school, but around her closest friends, she was as happy as could be.
"Heya!" She grinned, seeing Cody, and jumped up to give him a quick hug, as friends often did, "You good?"

Will was just pulling into his driveway, his foster parents had gone to Vegas for the whole week, they had been gone only one day so far. "Do you wanna play some board games?"

Cody smiled as Lotta opened the door. "Hey" he said, hugging her back quickly. "Yeah. You?" He replied, then questioned. Cody liked being around Rhett and Lotta, especially lotta, since he liked her

"Yep, even better now that both of you are here." Lotta beamed, optimistic and bubbly on the exterior, as usual. "Sooo," She began, how addressing both boys, "What shall we do today, hm?"
