Austin has lived by the sea since he was born here, and grew up as an only child to a single mother. His father walked out on her when he found out she was pregnant, and she was forced to raise Austin on her own. Since she was a single parent, funding was tight. Austin didn't grow up with much, so he quickly learned to appreciate what he has. He moved out of his mother's house when he turned 19, and moved into his own apartment. He's worked at The Igloo, the ice cream parlor, for three years now, and that's how he pays his rent. Because he didn't grow up with much, Austin can't stand when people complain about minor, irrelevant issues, and he hates lazy people who don't try or work for what they get. Austin isn't really looking for a relationship, but the qualities that he would want in a girl is independence, the ability to take a joke, and he doesn't really like wild hair colors. He doesn't like it when girls wear a lot of make up. Austin enjoys drawing, playing guitar, surfing, singing, and longboarding during his free time.

I walk on the sidewalk, nearing Starbucks. Maybe I should get a coffee... I think. While lost in thought, something- or someone, bumps right into me, causing me to stumble. I realize it's a boy, a nice-looking boy. When the stranger speaks, I respond in a calm, collected, and friendly tone. "Ah, that's alright." I say with a smile. "I'm kinda oblivious to everything when I'm lost in thought... it would probably be beneficial to everyone if I paid more attention." I say, my intelligence clear in my words.
