Liz puts the baby back in the crib and exits the nursery. The four year old girl sighs softly as she walks around the mansion.

Brendan got a late start on the day, practically falling out of bed with a tired grunt. He slowly picked himself up and fixed his headphones draped around his neck, disconnecting them from his laptop and into his iPhone instead slipping it into his pocket turning the music up to drown out the sounds of the other children as he made his way down to the kitchen.

The little girl clung tightly to the case workers neck, hiding her head in the man's shoulder as she cried, scared and unwilling to go to this new home. "I want daddy!" She insisted trying to kick and throw a fit as he calmly walked up to the door and rang the bell setting her bag down on the front porch to wait, silently hoping she'd be okay and fall asleep soon.

Personality: Ash really seems like a typical teenager until you get to know him. He's quiet and usually you will have to do all he talking in a conversation, but once you earn his trust, you never lose his loyalty. Contrary to many people's ideas, Ash is a bit of a prankster. He's almost mute, but once in a while he'll say something hilarious out of the blue.
History: Ash is from the city and he hated it there. His parents were nice, but when they left him on a street corner in the middle of the night, he wasn't too surprised. From there, he lived on the streets, went to school by sitting under the window of one of the first story classrooms, and stole food from street vendors.
Other: Ash has a habit. During a storm, he'll stay out in the rain and if night falls, he'll be stuck. He hates the dark, starts to panic, and eventually just ends up sleeping in the rain. If that happens, he won't speak to anyone for days or weeks, won't even acknowledge them.

Legend yawned and almost smacked into some other kid who was wearing headphones, nimbly springing to the side last minute as a reflex. He didn't say anything, just scanned him quickly with sharp blue eyes, taking in details and assessing strengths and weaknesses.

He jerked slightly in surprise as some kid suddenly jumped out of his way, stopping at staring at him for a moment. "Um...sorry?" He tried wondering what was wrong with the guy he seemed...paranoid.

She sniffled, quieting down when the door open and rubbing her teary eyes with the back of her fists. The case worker promptly explained, introduced the girl, then handed over her bags and paperwork before leaving. Millie stood there, tugging on the ladies shirt. "I'm hungwy."

She's very trusting- the only time she wouldn't trust you is if you've proved to her you don't deserve it.

Milo hasn't had an easy time of it. She was abandoned when she was 5, and she's been through 12 foster homes since. She doesn't mind the constant moving much, aside from the fact it means another family didn't want her. What's really been hard for her is the bullying. She's never had great self-confidence, and from an early age she's been the kid who's picked on. She tries to ignore it and often hides behind her big personality. She started burning herself with lighters when she was 12. When her foster parents at the time found out, she was taken to therapy and, with help, stopped about 2 months ago.

Cole's parents were abusive, but he was good at keeping that a secret. At school he was known as the trouble child. When he was in eighth grade, his parents were finally found out and Cole was placed in his first foster home. He's been in and out of juvie and 'retreats' for troubled teens, as well as through different foster homes, for the past four years.
