Piper did her best to smile. "Piper," she said, sitting back down and setting her oxygen tank beside her. "What'cha writing?"

"A story about a mutant girl named Flare who controls fire, ice, water and wind. Not to be rude, but why do you have the oxygen tank?" Layla uttered.

Piper laughed- she liked how straight to the point this girl was. "My lungs suck at being lungs," she said, not wanting to explain the medical condition. "So I get a little extra help. Flare, huh? Sounds cool."

"Yeah, she has a crush on someone who controls plastic, and so far, he has just saved her life. He also likes her." Layla smiled lightly.

Violetta nodded before wandering off her hands shaking. She looked around not hungry.

Piper's smile widened. "Sounds like you have a good story on your hands. Do you write a lot?"

"Yeah. I've published one already. Protectors. 100 sales. That's all." Layla smiled. No one talked to her, but with an interest in writing? Cool.

Alyssa smiles at Wren and puts her down. "Would you like to see the place, Wren?"

"Wow," Piper said, extremely impressed. "You must have some talent." Piper felt comfortable, sitting with this girl. Piper, though she herself wasn't a writer, had always loved talking to people about what they loved. And she loved reading.

Wren- Alyssa
Wren nodded, biting her tongue. All she really wanted to do was set her back-pack down and get some food, but she wasn't going to say that.

Alyssa nods and starts to show Wren the mansion and tells her what each room was. She ends at Te girl's room and waits for Wren to set her stuff down so they can go to the dining room to get something to eat.
