"Well, my friends and I were thinking about ditching and heading to the skate park, wanna come?" Mrs. Green placed the test sheet on his desk and glared at him. He rolled his eyes before looking back at Hailee.

Hailey bit her lip nervously, "Uh... S-sure," she said and she turned her eyes to the test in front of her.

"Okay," he smiled staring at her a bit more before turning to his test. He could feel Mrs. Greens eyes partially burning into his soul. He began reading though the questions and circling the bubble answers. (A, B, C, D)

Hailey read through the first few questions and completed them quickly. She had always been good in school, not straight A's but close enough. She glanced over at Conner then returned her eyes to her paper. Why did he ask me? Out of all people he could have asked, more popular people or his other friends, he chose me.. Why? she thought as she finished a few more questions.

Conner finished the first few questions with no problem but then they began to get harder. He regretted for studying only a few hours the day before. He glanced over at Hailey for a second before returning his eyes to the paper and circling the answers.

Hailey had finished the first page so she flipped it over and started on the next page. She saw Conner glance at her out of the corner of her eyes and she smiled slightly.

Circling the last answer on the first page he flipped it over. You've got to be kidding me! We never studied this.. At least from what I can remember.. he thought as he did his best.

Hailey finished her test and put her pencil down and then looked out the window again. She rested her elbows on her desk and put her chin on her hands.

Conner glanced over beside him and saw that Hailey was done with her test. How is that even logically possible. Man this girls smart. Turning back to his test he flipped to the last page.

Hailey glanced over at Conner, he was almost done his test. She looked back towards the window and watched the light faded as the sun was covered by a cloud.
