"Thank you. I've been working hard on figuring the whole thing out," Harold said with a smile. After a moment, he looked toward the dog as he was approached and he smiled gently before holding his hand out for her to sniff it. As she stepped back, he withdrew his hand before looking toward Ashly. "If you want you can sit closer, love. I know you could use some comfort and I'm here for you whatever kind of comfort that may be. If you need someone to cuddle into, I can be that lad or if you need a shoulder to cry on, mine is open."
Carter listened to the vet as he spoke before resting his hands behind his back. He wasn't sure how Yuin would be able to get around without his dog, but he was sure he would find a way to do so. There was always the blind stick or whatever it was called. He wasn't exactly sure what it was, though he knew he had seen blind people with a white stick before that they used to tap around on their surroundings to ensure that they didn't run into anything.
